Samar Nahas's Online Review Report Card

I met her (supposed to be my oncologist) once before she did my surgery. I was hospitalized again 3 days after with an infection. I called her office. “Alicia” put me on hold for 28 mins, came back on, said doctor would call me back. Two full days in the hospital with their staff at hospital trying to reach her, she never called anyone back. I was in there for 5 days. Never called to check on me after surgery, no contact at all. Go home, week later, bleeding & fluid pockets in my stomach, call her office @ 8:30 in morning. Literally on hold over 1/2 hr. The girl said doctor would call me back. 2:30 in the afternoon, nothing, no one. So got taken to hospital, admitted. They repeatedly tried to reach her. They couldn’t. I went to my follow up 3 weeks later. She was in such a hurry, didn’t check me at all, didn’t go over my paperwork with me about what was done or future. Had no clue I’d called her office several times, no clue I’d been hospitalized. Told me check back in 3 months. Carele

Dr. Nahas seems very knowledgeable and has a very warm manner. All the staff was very friendly and professional. My only complaint was the wait time which I thought was quite excessive.

It’s always scary when you have a problem with your body. Especially when it involves surgery or the word “cancer”. Dr Nahas was so caring and explained everything so well. I felt at ease to be in her care. I had a rare cyst removed and my left ovaries. In my case I could have went into surgery and had a full hysterectomy or at the least my left side ovaries gone. Dr Nahas explained all the scenarios to me that could happen during surgery so I knew before going in and was well informed. My surgery was in October 2021. I had 3 incisions. My scares are so small, healed beautifully and I feel great. I can’t explain how grateful I am to Dr Nahas. If you have any women problems she really is amazing. I don’t usually write reviews but when I was referred to her I was scared and did look her up and read other peoples reviews. It did help me hopefully it will help you.

She and her student was straight forward understood the problem, explained how the solution was to be taken care of. I know who she was and what she's going to be doing. I have read her papers I am certain her and her team be able to take care of this finally. Hopefully this may be a blessing to many other women in some way. Amen

The BEST Dr., ever!

I was fortunate to have Dr Samar Nahas do my surgery in 2014 at Credit Valley Hospital, Canada. My prognosis looked poor on the CT scan and this amazing doctor comforted me all the way from the pre-op waiting room to the actual operating room table. She was extremely compassionate in my follow up appointment. She is skilled, caring, dedicated, and meticulous. She is a fantastic surgeon and a kind, warm, sympathetic human being.
