Bron Hedman's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Hedman for over 10 years now for a chronic condition. When I first came to him I was on Fentanyl patches for pain (along with multiple other drugs), I was in and out of the hospital for all sorts of issues (due to pain meds.). This was when Anna Nicole Smith died, I was on almost all the same meds. After being referred to him by a friend, he and I came up with a game plan to cut back on the meds. He told me straight up he didn't think I would be able to get completely off them, but I did. It took us a year. I was able to stay off them for a couple years, except when I had a "flare up". Now years later I take (3) Percocet daily as needed. We have a pact, not to get back where we started. I have so much respect for him, he is completely honest with you when he speaks to you about your health. He doesn't treat you like he knows everything and you don't. He takes the time to discuss all options with you. I truly believe without him, I would not be here today. He gave me my life back. Then there is the office staff, they are ALL FABULOUS. I can honestly say everyone there goes out of there way to make you feel comfortable. They treat the office as if it was theirs. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I have NEVER had a bad visit here ever, and we all know if its bad in the office the care is usually the same. Everyone here truly seem happy at all times.

Wonderful & caring attitude

Dr. Hedman is great! He always takes the time to listen and understand my concerns. I've never had a doctor spend so much time with me. I highly recommend him and his staff. The new office model is awesome! Never have to wait and the staff is very professional and courteous. I'm never put on hold and the medical assistants take care of my issues / questions right away. Most importantly, if I have a question, Dr. Hedman gets back to me promptly. Concierge medicine is awesome!

He's a know it all... That's why my family and I call him Dr. Know it all... He sits and rubs his head and looks down instead of looking you in the face... When you try and talk to him he's always right no matter what you have to say... He treated my son very poorly and couldn't even finish a phone conversation with him, so unprofessional hung up the phone in his ear... He's a very rude doctor with a horrible bed side manner...

After several years and many disappointments with Dr. Hedman, I am going to find another doctor. I have spent the last two years trying to get treatment for what turns out to be a common treatable infection, yet Dr. Hedman never even bothered to take a swab to see what the problem was, and has actually made the problem worse by prescribing things (guesses) that, in hindsight, have increased the chance that the only treatment available may now be compromised by his inability to actually look at what was wrong in the first place! I only just learned this while travelling, and (at my wits end) went to a doctor elsewhere, who actually practices medicine.He seems to avoid practicing any actual medicine! When he told me that if his (non) treatment didn't get any better, I could go to a specialist without seeing him again first, I had to argue several times on the phone with the receptionist who said he wanted to see me yet again beforehand! I relayed his own words back to the receptionist regarding why I wanted to skip the additional office visit, and when she called back with his reply she said he had only one question: "Why did I want to skip this office visit?" HELLO? Is he a moron? Does he even listen to his patients?!Another time, I was seeking treatment for a highly personal problem, and upon entering the examination room, as he closed the door (but not before), said in a very loud voice, '"SO, HOW'S THE ____ ___ GOING?"I am SO done with this "Doctor."

Dr. Hedman is the best dr. He was my primary care provider for myself and my daughter until I moved back to the Bay Area. He sits and listens to you and spends the time getting to know who you are as well as knowing your health. Since moving I have not yet found a dr who cares as much as Dr. Hedman does.

I had been without a doctor for 2 years as my company dropped Kaiser. My insurance asked that I have a baseline blood work so that I have current cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar etc as part of a wellness plan. I went to Dr Hedman just to have a basic physical and get the blood work. For some reason this required 2 visits. The first to take a history ( I had already filled out pages of info on my health and family history) I guess this was so he could read it? They the second was after my lab results came back. So I was charged for 2 office visits in order to get some lab work of my cholesterol and blood sugar. I was fully clothed for both visits.....how do you do a physical and not actually look at the patient? Mind you I had no physical complains when I made this appointment. It was just to establish with a doctor and have some lab work done. At the end of the second appointment I did ask for a script for my allergies and he gave me 30 days worth and NO REFILLS. I will not go back and now I still don't have a doctor.

I went to him since I was in middle school, he has put me on adderall and when I said it was making me depressed and suicidal he straight up said he didn't believe me, he would have the appointment more with my mother than me. I always have been going in with throat problems for years strep throat 4 times a year for 6 years constant swollen tonsils and no referral ever to an ent. I finally went to one of the other doctors in the office who gave me a referral first visit. Turns out my tonsils and adenoids have needed to come out for years.

Dr. Hedman has been my physician for years and he has always taken very good care of me. He had me laughing during some painful surgery and his assistants are remarkable as well.
