This was my second visit with Carmen. She's extremely professional and caring. The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. The receptionist it very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!!

I have tried many other acupuncture places and, while good, not the most memorable experiences. I stumbled upon Carmen through a groupon about 4 years ago and I have been going there ever since. I am a therapist and athlete and, as you can imagine, have a lot of stress and injuries. Carmen is not only incredible for individual care, but she cares for each and every one of her clients. This has been a life saver and I honestly recommended my husband, friends, and family to her because of the consistent quality of care and services.

Carmen did some cupping for me. She is fast, efficient and very chill. She makes you feel you are in your own space. If you are looking for a good cupping I really recommend her. I will definitely follow up with acupuncture session.

I come here for treatment of chronic upper back pain and for general relaxation. The first time you visit Carmen will do a thorough intake interview. She will recommend a treatment plan and suggests how often you should get accupuncture done, but doesn't pressure you or make you feel guilty if you don't have the time or the money to visit often. I also like that there are two separate treatment rooms, one with two chairs and the other with four, so even though it is in a community setting, it is still possible to have a lot of privacy. I have gotten accupuncture at a couple of other places locally and I prefer how calm and gentle Carmen is. I rarely feel any pain at the site of the needle, even when she is first putting them in. I always leave well rested and in less pain than I was previously.

Carmen is the best. I went in for mental health; anxiety, depression etc., & I have been feeling 100x better. I go in once a week, but I recommend a few times a week which is what I plan on doing. I also go in for back pain & it has helped immensely. I recommend coming here, it's affordable & effective. I stopped coming in for 2 weeks & I noticed a (-) difference in my mood. This is why decided to come here at least 1x a week.

This is a mixed bag kind of review and unfortunately I don't think there's any way around that. Carmen has helped me with her acupuncture but I also believe that she is overextended as she is the only one operating and working at this clinic and as a result, I have observed a few oversights (also, she doesn't check pulses or tongues prior to treatment which I found to be really odd). I have also noticed that she may have a hard time setting boundaries with people and informing people that they need to keep noise levels down--a sign somewhere near the entrance where people can see it might be helpful. In every community acupuncture clinic I have been to, practitioners have always made a point of making sure other patients keep volume levels down because there are other people getting treatments and trying to relax and heal. Lastly, the last two times I went here, I didn't feel quite right emotionally after I left. The last time it was due to the fact that I was talking about a rather serious situation and I received a flippant response from her which didn't feel right-- perhaps odd communication issues which just didn't sit well with me combined with the fact that I was being rushed. Needless to say, I'm pretty sure I won't be returning.

Carmen is very gentle and effective with her needle placement and very attentive to the needs of her patients. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean. Her rates are very reasonable. We benefitted from her services at her prior location and followed her when she started her own practice. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in accupuncture or herbal medicine.

If you are an athlete or crossfit person and you need fast recovery! I would recommend cupping and acupuncture. Carmen is great! She was very professional and friendly. Definitely I will come back for other cupping season.
