I highly recommend Dr. Hook and staff. The atmosphere is pleasant, clean, professional and friendly. I feel well attended to. Dr. Hool is exceptional in her appproach and knowledge.

Dr. Kalpana Hool is awesome. She is smart, professional and very caring. She takes her time to understand my concerns and talking to me about her recommendations. I have never felt rushed. I really appreciate that, because often with other doctors it seemed that they were in a hurry to move on to the next patient. I like that she makes sure I am up to date on all my checkups and screenings. She also goes above and beyond by researching a specialist that would be just perfect for my needs. Her office is top notch too! Super friendly, eager to help and quick to reply to a message.

Dr. Hool has been my PCP for a very long time way back when she was working as one of the doctors at Healthcare Partners Medical Group. She listens to your concerns, asked questions related to your symptoms and goes from there. I feel very comfortable with her regards my medical history. She has empathy and her bedside manner is great.

Dr Hool is nice to talk to. Her care approach and recommendations however are outdated and she is out of touch with more recently published studies. The nurses at this place also appear to have unlimited control over the patients' care and seem to dictate the terms, conditions and which medications you should be taking, which is a bit troublesome. In my case, a nurse completely misinterpreted my blood tests and recommended some bogus diet. This was so off that it almost showed a sign of negligence. Dr Hool however decided to implicitly back the nurse's wrong diagnosis and stick to the original position imposed by a non M.D. nurse. She heavily relies on FDA guidelines and even in places where a range of options is given to the care providers to choose a treatment, she seem to opt for recommendations from the 50's that have since been debunked by a majority of recent studies. If all you need is an aspirin, this may be a place for you.
