Rolling Hills Estates Breast Diagnostic Center's Online Review Report Card

Over the past years I have always had my mammogram at the Polak Breast Diagnostic Center at Skypark in Torrance and always had a great experience with the most courteous and professional medical staff. This year i decided to try their newest location in Rolling Hills Estates and I was able to score an appointment almost immediately. The day of my appointment I showed up 10 minutes earlier but had barely any wait time. The front desk is very well organized and my mammogram took less than 20 minutes. All in all a pleasant experience

They made it super difficult for you to get an appointment especially during COVID. Called 5 times for a whole week period still could not get a simple appointment. They dont take email even were asked they wont tell you their email address. so you have to either FAX your doctors prescription to them or drive there in person to drop off a prescription paper. How much more difficult can you make for your client during COVID time????? Who would have a FAX machine now????? Would never come back or suggest this place to anyone.There is no patient first here all they can offer is our procedure first . And those peoples emails are all national top secrets I guess.

After this mornings appointment I have to say I will never come back to this location again.  I usually go to the Skypark location and have never had a bad experience there.  But there was a problem with their 3d machine and I needed to keep this appointment so that the results would be read prior to my scheduled ultrasound in the next 10 days.  I had a bad vibe from her off the bat and should have went with my gut feeling but figured she just had a bad bedside manner either that or an off morning.  But had I known I would leave that facility with skin tears under both breasts I would have turned around and left and rescheduled at the Skypark location.  The only reason I am giving this review 1 star was because at least the receptionist was nice.

Have been going to the Rolling Hills office for my mammograms the past few years. The office staff is friendly efficient and most importantly the techs there are WONDERFUL I have only had Grace and Deb do my exams but they take what can be a slightly unpleasant experience and make it really not that bad. Im in and out of the office quickly. As for the previous negative review I believe when you call to schedule an appointment you phone a central scheduling office not this specific site. So take the negative review with a grain of salt as Ive only had positive experiences coming to the BDC.
