Anna Abalos's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Abalos SUCKS. First of all, I've never even SEEN Dr. Abalos. Ever. My appointments are always with Joey BagAo. While my appointments with her are always pleasant, they always make it the most difficult and painful experience afterwards to get my prescriptions. Several times they don't go through after they JUST RENEWED THEM and I'll try to call their office and they rarely pick up the phone or they don't even call you back. It should not be that hard.The worst thing though-- they don't prescribe birth control anymore and apparently don't refill it after two times. What???? Who does that? I should have known to run far from this place after the nurse first told me she could only prescribe me birth control if I said it was ONLY for my period pain. What a stupid policy. And then now, my request for refill of birth control which I have used for OVER A YEAR to regulate my period pain was DENIED RANDOMLY. They didn't even tell me or explain this to me before, I had to call them and ask. Why they decided all of a sudden not to prescribe birth control? Because they don't want people using it for sex I assume because they are a Christian practice. HUH???!?!!! Now I do use it for period pain, but so what if I didn't? What kind of backwards stone age thinking is that? You shouldn't let your personal values get in the way and try to control people by refusing to prescribe birth control. It's not going to do anything, you're not preventing anyone from having sex. Everyone deserves access to birth control. It's 2022. People have sex. Even married people. Even Christian people. Get over it.And even if you are going to decide to that, at least you can be decent enough to inform your patient BEFOREHAND. Ridiculous.

We have been going to Dr. Abalos for almost two years. She has been fantastic and always responds to any questions we have or if we need to be referred to another doctor.It has been crazy times with covid but if you have to go in they are very careful and we feel safe. Otherwise you can do a video visit which is easy to do too.  We appreciate her very much.

This office is so rude and unprofessional. This morning, I called about needing an appointment for a serious allergic reaction I've been having for 3 days, I was in the ER the day before for a rash, swollen face, tongue, throat and lips, as well as joint pain. I was told that their office won't take me because I have a rash because there was a chance it could have something to do with Covid, although I have no Covid symptoms or contact. The ER told me it was a severe food allergy and to see my primary care doctor. The office said the most they could do was a video call, however I needed urgent treatment and I told them I will just go back to the hospital and the front desk rudely told me to do whatever I want. Within the next hour, they called me back to tell me that the doctor is asking for me not to go to the ER because I don't have a vaccine and it could increase my chances of getting Covid or spreading it, which once again, I DON'T HAVE COVID. I told them I was there the day before and received help just fine, however the doctors office kept insisting that their video call was all I needed, while I was still having a very severe reaction and needed help. I hung up on them because I was already at urgent care and getting help. What kind of doctors office tells their patients to not get help when they are having a life-threatening emergency... I don't recommend this office and will not be returning.

I LIKE THIS PLACE! DR ABALOS AND HER STAFF ARE VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL..

Beautifully renovated office space! Seems as though the team has made many improvements to their system- Much more organized than years past!

Wonderful physician. I never feel rushed or that my concerns are not being listened to. The staff is warm and caring. Dr. Abalos is truly a caring person. She always makes me feel better by the time I leave.

Worst experience ever!! Front desk staff is so rude and unprofessional. My kids had new patient appointment and came in before it started and told us they didn’t take our insurance. Then asked us to leave while I was on phone with insurance, which says they took our insurance. DO NOT GO HERE! Save yourself time and money

Woe Chile the front desk staff of this place is so extremely rude and unhelpful.
