List of Mujahid A Hines's Reviews
Dr.Hines is the best! I had an eye infection and he took the time to make sure I received the best care and medication. He also checked in everyday to track the progress of my recovery.
A wonderful doctor that made me feel very comfortable with all my questions and concerns. Will be keeping him as my doctor.
I was recently seen by Dr. Hines. I was nervous but he answered all my questions and made me welcome and comfortable. He is fantastic!
When I first met Dr Hines I knew right away he was going to take great care of me. His smile, patience and wonderful demure was exactly what I needed to feel safe and secure! After all he was going to poke at my eyeball which made me very nervous. It’s only been one day since surgery and yet I can see clearly now! Thank you Dr. Hines for your excellent care and a big thank to your wonderful staff. They indeed made my experience something quite memorable.
The entire family trusts Dr. Hines.
Amazing Doctor! My aunt recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Hines and she can now see things I can’t! He took his time explaining things and made us both feel comfortable with entire process. We will both be telling our friends about him as we feel blessed that we stumbled upon him.
I’ve seen this doctor for 6 months and it’s almost like he doesn’t listen to the answers to his questions. He asked me the same question of where I’m from and what I do, which is work in the medical field, when after a few visits you’d think he’d have a gist. Each visit for a chalazion he changed his patient education and made me feel like I should have known that the proper treatment was what he was saying now, even though I followed his previous instructions to a T. When I asked questions, at one point he told me “I wouldn’t know what to look for.” The cake for me was stating at my last visit he’d remove my chalazion, and this time he said he never would due to positioning. Waste of copay money to talk to a provider who doesn’t listen, talks down to you, and jerks you around by changing plans each visit. The one thing he hasn’t learned is basic treatment of patients.
Have seen this doc for a few months. It’s amazing how poorly he listens to the answers to his questions. At every visit he asked me the same social history questions of where I’m from and what I do. It’s almost like he never planned on storing me as a patient in his memory bank. I found I was talked down to on two occasions when I asked valid questions about my eyes. The second time he talked down to me (which wasn’t my second visit), I realized he wasn’t having a bad day, he genuinely believes he can talk to patients any way he wants. I was mortified that his scribe didn’t react to what he said to me. I found following his patient education to be difficult, considering I’d follow instructions and at the next visit when his proposed treatment didn’t improve my condition, he made me feel like I was crazy to think what I was doing would help, and offered completely different advice. The office wanted me to schedule a follow up appointment but absolutely not, today’s visit with him was my last. There’s got to be an ophthalmologist in Dallas with his training but a CLUE as to how to treat patients. Working in medicine involves empathy and the ability to show compassion.
Non existent communication if you have a question after first visit.
Dr. Hines is amazing at why he does. I’m amazed at how well I can see. I highly recommend him to all my friends and neighbors.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
