Renew Me Medical Group's Online Review Report Card

Pretty rude folks, they seemed expensive and difficult to work with. I didn't get the impression that I would be treated well as a patient.

I only did this because my wife was getting such great results. Since then, I am the strongest I have ever been (54 yrs old), it's the leanest my waist has been since my early 20's, and my blood sugar levels have dropped me out of the "pre-diabetic" range. Friends have noticed the difference in my body and energy. And lastly, my marriage has been re-energized, especially since we are both following Annika's recommendations. It could be problematic for you to do this and not your spouse. ;) Annika, thank you very much. You have literally changed my life.

While the majority of reviews are about weight loss, the main reason I signed up with ReNew Me Medical Group was to balance out my hormones. I've been working with Annika and her staff for almost 2 years and feel great. I don't think you'll find a nicer group of women to support you in your journey toward optimal health. If you want better sleep, less aches and pains and renewed intimacy without pain, to name a few, these ladies have you covered. It may not be inexpensive but you need to ask yourself what is your health and wellness worth to you. My only complaint is that I didn't seek them out sooner.

So grateful to Renew Me Medical Group for giving me a detailed evaluation of my health and hormones and then putting me on a treatment plan that is giving me my life back. The depression I experienced with menopause was taking over my life and making work almost impossible (I'm not ready to retire quite yet). I felt like I was losing my mind! Renew Me Medical Group gave me a treatment plan that has restored my body's balance and I am reengaging with life! So grateful - highly recommend!

My health is so much better after being treated at Renew Me Medical. For years I have had an eating disorder and gone to many doctors and naturopathic practitioners for help without results. Annika was able to listen and understand my symptoms and said I had SIBO. Sure enough after going to my doctor and tested and treated I am better. Hooray I can eat.

If you are going in for weight loss, it might be a good option - buyer beware when it comes to HRT. I am amazed at the negative reviews that have been taken down since that doesn't give a good valuation of the business or plan. I have a group of friends that have all gone in for HRT, each having different issues that brought them to ReNew Me. Everyone was prescribed the same "cocktail" of supplements/meds.. Unfortunately, prescribing meds for off-label use caused me to have another medical issue. It is unfortunate that you trust a clinicians recommendation, and they are mostly interested in the exorbitant monthly 'program' fee. With the risk I was placed in they said they would lessen the termination fee and still ended up charging over $800 for me to stop...pretty sad to see a business promoting healthcare being mostly interested in getting money out of you for nothing. Please use your insurance and medical doctor if you need HRT. Still confused that meds and labs were requested by a doctor I've never seen, nor is on the clinics published documentation. Odd experience here!! Won't happen again.

Starting HRT with Renew Me was the best decision of 2022. I feel rejuvenated and more than 10 years younger in a short 6 months of therapy. I have fewer aches and pains, higher energy, and building and sustaining muscle development once again. Annika’s knowledge on the subject is impressive. I’m sold and sticking to the program. I can’t wait to see how I look and feel in another 6 months!

I have been going to ReNew Me for over a year and it has been a great experience! I got my labs done and met with Annika to review them. She is very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly. Since being there and starting treatment I have felt better all around! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for Hormone Replacement Therapy!

I benefited from their HCG program. Although when you only consume 500 calories a day it is hard not to. But it did work, as far as the HCG weight loss piece of it was. They are expensive $1200. I found a pharmacy online and got HCG for $600. While on the program they never once reached out to see how I was doing. I would have thought Anika, the doctor would have wanted to see how I was doing, but did not. At the initial visit Anika suggested I have blood drawn so she could check to see if I had thyroid or hormonal issues that were preventing the weight loss. After I lost the weight I did that. Anika suggested I start taking bio identical thyroid, testosterone and estradiol & DHEA, since the blood work showed I was extremely low in those areas, and stated I would benefit more as it would decrease the belly fat, increase my energy and help eliminate my brain fog; all of which happened after menopause. I agreed. The fee for this was $299/month and I had to sign up for 12 months. I inquired into receiving an itemized invoice for tax purposes. My request was refused. I was told they did not provide itemized invoices, the $299 was an inclusive fee which was for the medication and Anika's services. I checked prices online for the meds suggested. DHEA costs around $6 online. They charged me $30. Estradiol costs around $40/month. Thyroid costs about $46 and testosterone cream around $60/month. That is around $155/month. That would mean the doctors service for a 15 minute visit once a month would be $145. However, they refused to provide the invoice for me and spending $3600/year without being able to deduct it on my income tax return was something I was uncomfortable with. When I informed them I wanted a copy of my labs so I could share them with my primary doctor, they emailed me and told me since I had asked so many questions, and because they do not coordinate care with their patients doctors, they terminated my 12 month agreement. They did tell me they would waive the 3 month fee for early termination, which was great.
