Thomas Hopkins's Online Review Report Card

How Dr Hopkins and his staff treat senior citizens is appalling. Apparently making an appointment with this physician does not actually mean you will have an appointment with him. Instead of explaining the process beforehand to my mother, both his NP and he decided that it was of greater benefit to argue with her about seeing the physician. After the NP stated that she could not see the doctor with whom she made an appointment with (and whose services would most likely be billed for), Hopkins, in a degrading manner, told my mother that “this is how he runs his business”. Ok fine. Well that should be explained to the patient that making an appointment with the phylum sans you may not get to see the physician. Only after a “six month” wait-per the NP. In other words, if you are looking for a physician who cares, it might be best to look elsewhere. Roseville and the surrounding area has plenty of outstanding docs willing to see you.

his doctor trying to be choicey about who he sees he don't even trt to get know the patient i don't know who he is. Trying to be so important you he call himself a doctor probbly evil and selfish wouldn't want you to be my doctor noway. With that kind of attiude

Haley is a liar management is no different instead of identifying the problem they were trying to coach me Haley dropped the ball on a medication I was supposed to receive Instead of owning up for her mistake She was annoyed n the management backed her up instead of resolving the issue The office was annoyed and wouldn’t answer my calls purposely wouldn’t return my call back!!

Not worth your time, energy or health. No one can keep their stuff straight and Haley is completely out of line and rude. They are not a patient first medical office and don’t really care if you are getting better or not. I have never in my life been more disappointed and finally removed myself from their office. This was the straw that broke the camels back. Don’t go.

I saw Dr. Hopkins for a new patient consultation. I picked him based on these great reviews on Google. After about 2 mins of listening to me, he became completely uninterested in what I had to say. I was trying to list several health conditions which I wanted diagnostics done for, etc. He just kept nodding his head, as if annoyed with me and stopping me mid sentence. He was annoyed that I was medically knowledgeable and knew what I was talking about and what I wanted. He said I was too young to have these health problems. I am 35 and personally know people with cancer at my age. I told him I didn't want things missed. He told me since he was my doctor (which I wanted to tell him he wasn't my doctor yet as this was just the first visit), it was his responsibility to check everything to make sure nothing is missed. I told him it was my body and I would be the one dead if he were to miss anything so I wanted specific things checked which he refused to do. He refused to tell me what blood work he ordered. He then asked if I had anxiety and I told him no. Later I checked and he listed anxiety as one of diagnoses in his notes. If there was anything I felt that day it was the frustration of dealing with an arrogant doctor who wouldn't listen to his patient. I told him my dad died of pancreatic cancer because his initial doctor didn't order proper tests but that meant nothing to him. In my opinion, a doctor who doesn't believe his patient's symptoms and doesn't listen to his patient is the worst kind of doctor. That's Dr. Hopkins for you. I am not sure where all these great prior reviews came from. They are either from his family/friends or he was extremely discriminatory towards me only. In either case, I will stay away!

Every time I find a dr I like, they either retire or leave the area. Today was my first appointment with dr hopkins’ office. The staff/front desk are engaging, friendly and caring. So, I am very pleased.

I fear the day this man retires. He is not only my doctor, but treats all of his patients as loved family members. I am also loving the new skin and body care services he has introduced to his practice.

Fantastic office housed with professional, courteous, helpful staff. I was pretty sick and called the office which gave me an appointment same day! Dr Hopkins is thorough, very sharp and personable, and supports the patient every visit they make. Highly recommend this office and their entire staff.
