I was referred to Acuity eye care Group in Rowland Heights very nice and friendly the doctor is great she is very thorough and explain everything to you from A-to-Z she's leaves nothing out very nice lady very easy to get an appointment never overbooked the longest time I spent there was 45 minutes and that was to dilate my eyes and do all kinds a test you don't just sit around for an hour after your appointment you actually go in about five minutes after your appointment great place very comfortable

I brought my parents to see Dr. Chen on July 27, 2021. Initially, the staff gave me the wrong information about my mother's eligibility to be seen even though she has Medical-Medicare insurance. After asserting our rights, they eventually agree to see both of my parents. Dr. Chen checked my father, who has a history of glaucoma. Due to the delay of care because of COVID-19, I asked many questions to Dr. Chen with a concern about my father's vision. I told them that my Uncle lost his vision due to glaucoma. Dr. Chen was dismissive and was more focused on charting on the computer than communicating with us. I asked him about my father's condition if he needs additional medication or any treatment change since he did not see an opthalmologist for a year and a half due to COVID. He said no changes were required, he just needs to get new pair of glasses as we plan, and we need to come back in 4-6 weeks.That same day, we went to see our regular optometrist, who did more examinations for my father. I was shocked when the optometrist showed me the examination that my father's right eye is now completely blind. With my father's left eye covered, he cannot see the optometrist's two fingers placed at a very short distance from his face. Hearing this news was my greatest concern that I have been asking Dr. Chen. He claimed that he was the glaucoma specialist and that we are in the right place, yet he failed to diagnose and explain the severity of my father's vision on his right eye!  Dr. Chen was beaten by a caring optometrist who shows more compassion for my father. The optometrist took his time to explain to me and even agreed to communicate to the office of Dr. Chen. As a registered nurse myself, I requested to speak with Dr. Chen to understand what just happened. I feel he left us in the dark with his lack of full disclosure on his end about my father's actual condition. The worst part was that he did not even have the decency to speak to me to explain things, but instead, he just let his secretary call me. Desperate, I just requested and agreed to reschedule for my father to see Dr. Chen again at an earlier time than 4-6 weeks. After explaining what had happened to my husband, I was convinced that I should not bring my parents back to this uncaring doctor, whom I lost my complete trust and confidence.

Dr. Chen is a excellent eye surgeon.I had cataract surgery on my left eye and results are amazing. "He's been gifted by the god's".

Start to finish the staff were so nice. Kayla thank you for listening and great advice. Dr Janice Hung did a thorough exam, took the time to listen gave me a routine to do till my next appointment. Thank you this place gave me hope for my dry eye issues finally I feel hopeful.

I don't normally write reviews, but I was a bit taken aback by the service I received. They answered all my questions to and were really accommodating to my schedule. I've been to a few different places and this is by far the best place I've been. They spent actual time making sure my questions about and concerns were answered. I wasn't just patient #1234 and appreciated the time they spent with me to hear me out.
