Do you know harm is one of the basic rules of being a doctor. He seems kind and friendly but underneath I believe he's a very troubled person. I think he pretends to care. Honestly and with a deep understanding of what I'm saying, I believe he has purposely not provided the care I need. I can't go into detail because a doctor can dump you whenever he wants and I could end up with a worse doctor. Also either he doesn't have the time or he won't spend the time to provide top-notch care. I don't think he's one of the more intelligent doctors I've ever had. He is just okay and acts friendly and kind. You will be happy at first, but if you have any type of complex illness and over many years, you will be less and less satisfied.

Dr. Auwinger has helped me through a rare disease state and extremely difficult physical functional disorder and heavy chronic pain that started 11/2012 after my mesentery resection and TAH - BSO. Unfortunately, I never healed since that time of surgery. Coincidentally, I developed SIBO - methane dominant, SIFO, slow transit, dysbiosis, hyothyroidism, and other ailments associated with leaky gut and autoimmunity challenges. He has helped me more than any GI specialist. I had another open abdominal surgery for 2 ventral hernia repair with mesh 7 /2020. I had no problems with my healing process, and knowing I have my abdominal wall reinforcement gives me peace of mind, however my functional disorders and pain stayed the same. I think my last surgery went well even though it did not help f I suspect my ventral hernias may have been R/T constipationI will never forget my first visit with Dr. Auwinger, he knew my entire health history, he was pleasant to discuss treatments and for some reason if I can don't understand something he will repeat his answer without any hesitation. Onetime I learned to TX SIBO Methane dominant it is often TX with Xifaxin and Neomycin. I have inner ear damage and Dr. Auwinger did not give me the Neomycin because it worsen ear functioning. It feels good that he is looking out for my best interest. I think he is brilliant, thourough, and he does not exemplify a big ego. He will refer appropriately and always follow up.

He’s been my PCP for 3 years now and I absolutely adore him, he is the most caring and compassionate physician and he really actually listens to you! This is huge for me. The office always has appointments and the staff are super nice! I’m literally never changing doctors again.

Ive been a patient of Dr Auwinger since he first came to greenback oaks family medicine 10+ years ago. My dr was moving out of state and recommended him highly. Dr Auwinger is wonderful, caring and thorough and I can assure you that you'd never find a better family practioner anywhere! I injured my spine back in 1980, at 19 years old, have had 5 back fusions and am in constant pain. Dr auwinger has always llistened, empathized and aided me in my treatment options - he doesnt just hand you a bunch of narcotics and let you get lost in the system! The office is immaculate, his staff are caring and knowledgeable and he respects your time by seeing you quickly. I trust Dr. Auwinger so much that he became my fathers, husbands, mother-in-laws and several friends physician as well - and everyone had positive things to say about him. He is a rare find and i consider myself lucky to have ever found him!
