Clear Day Acne Clinic's Online Review Report Card

I've been a member since March (almost 5 months now) and my specialist, Alyx, is awesome! She is super helpful in answering all my questions and I love how I can personally send an email to Alyx for any concerns. Alyx is very knowledgeable and friendly! I like how Clear Day does their research for each product and works as a team to provide the best service. My skin has never looked better and I am surprised at the length of time for my results. I do want to emphasize that everyone's skin reacts differently to each product. I do want to emphasize that it will feel costly coming in every two weeks at the start of your treatment but investing in your skin is very rewarding when you see results. Don't expect to finish a product if there are changes to your regimen. You have to be open to trial and error. I honestly would rather have someone choose products than myself. I have been researching the latest trends and been on a strict ingredient list and wasn't all satisfied. I do wish I can get samples instead of buying products but then I understand you won't know results until you try it for a period of time. After lots of trials of different products, I think I finally have a good routine so I'm crossing my fingers! Honestly, I wish I found Clear Day years ago as I am in my late 20s and have dealt with acne since elementary school. I also have allergies and lots of oils break me out so most of their products work well for me. Except I did have to stop on of their provided sunscreens for dry skin because I am allergic to Macadamia. I had great success with dermatologists but then my insurance changes or money becomes an issue. If you've been to a dermatologist they always prescribe the usual: birth control, tretinoin, and spironolactone and I was tired of relying on medication. Never took Accutane, but I have tried other known brands to help with acne. I recommend this clinic to anyone tired of buying too many products and can't seem to find a consistent regimen! I chose this clinic because I love how they are ingredient oriented, they show their prices on their website, and have actual results which are very rare to see!

This place is great! My sister recommend me this place since they specialize with people who suffer from acne. I have had and still experiencing acne flare up and adult cystic acne. Prior to going to Clear Day Acne Clinic I did go to another medical spa for about 8 months. My acne was not improving at all. It seemed like it was getting worse or just not going anywhere at all. My esthetician at Clear Day is Alyx. She is great!!! . My skin has never looked better in the past couple of months. I am able to eat foods that would cause my acne flare ups with minimal breakouts. Do trust the process and clearing up acne especially acne scars is a process. Their main goal is to make sure your acne is at a good spot where you graduate from their clinic. From there they can recommend you to other places to treat for acne scars and other skin issues that they cannot do at their clinic.

I went here for around 6 months and had been having acne issues for the greater part of my life. I just followed what routine life changes Alyx told me (albeit minimally) and it was still very helpful to clearing all the active acne on my face. I still have scars but they are fading away over time throughout my usage of their recommended products. The quality of the facials every treatment was very nice and I liked the aesthetics and relaxing nature of the entire place. Very clean and tranquil with fountains of bubbling water that relaxed me even further. Sometimes the treatment facials hurt, but every single time Alyx addressed it and followed up with a healing/relaxing product to soothe my skin. Thanks!

Book now, you won’t regret it. I had severe acne- and I mean severe, for 15 years. Doctors couldn’t do anything for me but put me on harsh meds that didn’t work. When I found Clear Day Acne clinic I was skeptical but excited. My esthetician, Alyx said I’d be clear in 4 months, without oral medication and she wasn’t lying. I’ve stuck to my routine and I’ve been clear for 5 YEARS. I still reach out to Alyx with questions because she made me feel like a friend, not a random client. She knows the struggle and encouraged me the whole way. This clinic is worth every penny.

I have been coming to Clear Day since 2015. Now I only come occasionally for treatments as upkeep because my skin has completely transformed, and I am clear thanks to Janice and the skincare routine she created for me. I occasionally get a pimple or two, but nothing compared to before I started coming here. Not only have they got me on a great routine, but they also truly educated me about products I put on my skin and have great resources for clients to ensure they are not using products with pore cloggers. I have made the mistake over the years of trying new skincare products that have been hyped on social media, but nothing has worked for me like my routine from Clear Day. And when I have made those mistakes and my skin suffered, Janice and Alyx were there to treat my skin and get it back on track. Acne is hard and what works for one doesn't work for everyone, but Clear Day has worked wonders for me, and I recommend them to anyone who is struggling with their skin.

Clear Day Acne Clinic is amazing and so is Janice. I saw her for about five months. I had a case of mild yet persistent acne and Janice explained everything to me, listened attentively to my problems and recommended products based off of feedback I gave her and my skin evaluations. I'd definitely recommend her and this clinic, they are worth the investment.

If I could give CDAC 10 stars I would! I've tried everything under the sun from harsh prescriptions, face washes and retinols to changing my diet, natural remedies and not wearing makeup. Nothing worked, and if it did work, it didn't last. My skin was always out of balance, and my face and neck full of acne. Then I went and saw Jasmine at CDAC. In just 5 short months, I am completely acne free. Before I felt like any little thing I did caused a breakout, and now, I don't even think about my face. I no longer have stress and anxiety about my skin and have regained my confidence. You may experience some initial sticker shock, but let me assure you. It truly will be a fraction of what you've spent on the revolving door of remedies you've tried in the past. Once you're clear, you're clear, and the products to maintain are comparable to any other products on the market. If you are suffering from acne, go to CDAC. You won't regret it.

I had perfect skin for my whole life, and when I turned 30, I started breaking out along my jawline and around my mouth for no apparent reason. Even when I wasn't actively breaking out, I was left with dark scars around my mouth, which was disheartening. I tried everything -- expensive anti-acne products, new makeup brushes, changing my diet ... everything that the media tells you is the reason you're suffering from acne. Nothing worked. I found Clear Day Acne Clinic on Yelp, and thought that I should at least put myself on the consultation wait list. Janice reached out to me approximately eight weeks later when they had an opening, and I went in. It took about a year of facials (I think) and using their products to get my skin under control, but it has never looked better. I have religiously used the products recommended for four years now, and my skin feels and looks amazing. It's not cheap, but neither is going to Sephora and blowing money on serums when you're not sure whether they'll work for you or not, or make you break out. Everyone I've seen here has been lovely and they all really know their stuff when it comes to acne. This is a true gem for acne sufferers in the Sacramento area!

It's hard for me to do this review as I do wanted to give it a better star but I can't. Before coming here, please read my review as this is my honest experience with CDAC. After reading all the 5stars review and etc, I decided to give CDAC a try. I came in with a very high hope to get rid of my mid acne. I don't have crazy acne like others but it all focus on my forehead for a period of time so after reading all the review I chose here to start my acne treatment journey. March 25th: the consultation & 1st acne treatment (about an hour and half - was about $250) She looked at my skin, gave some info about acne, and trying to find reason why I got acne on my face. And then You will have to use their products during the treatment journey other than that they won't take you as a patient. Okay. So I took whatever she told me that I would need at their store. I believe all of products is from their. April 13th: 2nd treatment. (30mins - $100-$150) Coming back after 2 weeks for a routine checkup. Nothing has changed on my skin after using their products or follow the technician's advice. May 4th: 3rd treatment. (30mins - $100-$150). I thought it would be different this time. But NOPE. All the time they do is: look at the skin, take acne out a bit, test new products on your skin to see how it reacts to products. If nothing you would need to buy it. And same thing, I Bought whatever she told me to buy. May 19th: 4th treatment (30mins ~$100-$150+$100 for new products). My skin getting so crazy. Before coming here I only had acne on my forehead, now it's everywhere. Like EVERYWHERE on the face. I asked her what happened to my skin? I used their products, I didn't use any others as I trusted them and followed all of her restrictions about food, drink, sleeping time, etc. But the skin hadn't improved AT ALL BUT WORSE. What she told me, wait and patience because I only came in for more than 2 months and they took AT LEAST 6 months to see the clear skin. Then she said look like my skin didn't like the routine she had set before so she would switch me to the new routine and I would need to buy more products/completely different products. I did ask her what about all of the products I bought before as it's still half way full. She told me she might for a refund for me on them. June 14th: 5th treatment (30mins - $100-$120) same thing, looking into the skin, test new products. She told me to bring products that I couldn't use anymore in the last appointment so I did bring it in. But she said this time: ''unfortunately we couldn't do a refund for you, as this is the routine we set for every new patient to see how their skin goes, and if it got wrong like your we will have to switch to a different routine like yours.'' ...... UHM. I thought everybody is different and their skin type is different too, isn't it? Why or How you could set a general thing like this.. anw I couldn't get any refund at all, and have to keep them for..nothing. July 20th: 6th treatment (30mins ~ $100-$120). I lost my hope in CDAC as every appointment I came in, what she always did is look at the skin, test new products and if nothing minor, she would said keep the work up and I'm done. Is it how you do for an appointment? I expected more as I paid $99 every time just to see you. 4 month since the day I started, my skin was worse than how it was before. They couldn't help on my acne prone. And if I had a question about the acne type, she would answer the same every time like a robot. August 24th: 7th treatment - CANCELED - the moment I knew I had to stop come in. The acne gone crazy all over of my face and I was completely lack of hope with this clinic. My husband was upset too, as my skin wasn't this bad before I came in. I spent a lot of money with a hope to get a better skin, better result. After all, what I got is acne all over the forehead, cheeks, and chin. If you asked me is it worth it? Absolutely NO. And what I regret the most? It's coming here. I spent my money, time, and all of the effort for nothing.
