He was very patient and took a lot of time to answer questions and concerns.
Great experience with California Conceptions program. He was willing to do a phone consult that saved me a long trip. My appointment in the clinic went well. I arrived early and they put me in an exam room early. The waiting room is sparse but clean. They saved their money for the exam room which was very comfortable. Spoke with another doctor in the hall after my appointment and he was very friendly too.
When I was having a complication from a procedure that he did, I called the office several times and didn't get a callback. Finally, when I insisted on speaking to somebody, they found some nurse who was unfamiliar with my case and was incredibly condescending. When I asked to please speak with the physician that did the procedure for my specific question, I was told you cannot speak to the doctor, nor was my message relayed to him. He never called me. It's poor quality of patient care there.
I was referred to this doc because I had no specialists in my area that took my insurance. It took a while to get in but it was worth it! I was tossed aside by my local doc too. I was nervous because of the almost 3 hour drive but he is arguably the best doc I have ever seen. He walked us through everything and didn't treat us as if we were stupid. He was very kind and understanding and gave us all of our options and let us decide. He obviously loves his job and is good at it. Highly recommend!
We spent about 8 months trying to conceive though the help of an OBGYN from a different facility after we found out I have PCOS before we became dissatisfied with Clomid cycles and decided to try something else, which is how we ended up at CA IVF. Our initial consultation was very thorough and for once in about a year, we felt hopeful that we could actually have a child. At their recommendation, we went on the EZ Diet as recommended (my husband did it to support me, as it is incredibly restrictive and challenging to maintain on your own). Since Clomid hadn't worked in the part and had given me terrible side effects, we started with Letrizole. The first round of it didn't work and the second round of it required a boost of Clomid, but it worked! We were pleasantly surprised that after going to CA IVF and being monitored by Dr. Zeringue (I needed three ultrasounds after taking the Letrizole/Clomid for my ovaries to be ready, but Dr. Zeringue was hopeful and confident it would work the entire time) for 2 months, to find out that I was in fact pregnant! Dr. Zeringue always answered all of my questions in a thorough manner that I could easily understand (great bedside manner!) and my coordinator, Holly, was always prompt at returning my phone calls and answering my questions I had. Also, the office staff was always friendly and welcoming to both me and my husband when he was able to come (even just for the routine transvaginal ultrasounds to check my progress with the medication). No one thought it was odd that he showed up for those appointments, which made it easier for him to come, and easier for me to have the support and someone to wait with. My main complaint is the amount of wait time in the waiting room before being seen for my appointment, the shortest wait time I had was 30 minutes, but it was usually closer to 45 minutes. This was consistent, regardless of if my appointment was first thing in the morning or one of the last in the afternoon. However, if you go you our appointment knowing this, it doesn't seem as bad and you can budget your time better.
Words cannot express how grateful we are to California IVF. We struggled to conceive "naturally" for over 2 years and were disapointed every month. Because we live in Placer County, we visited a closer fertility clinic and had, not a terrible experience, but one that didn't suit our personalities. We were told about a clinic in Davis (Cal IVF) and we really feel like it was meant to be. The doctors, the staff, everyone felt like family during a time when you need family the most. They took their time to explain our options, helped us understand which path was right for us and made us feel so comfortable. I am now happy to say that I am pregnant with Twins, through the help of California IVF and we couldn't be more thrilled to meet our babies!!!Thank you so much California IVF!!!
Dr Zeringue is an excellent provider. He understands the struggles and emotional pains of infertility and expresses much support and compassion. At the same time he gives realistic diagnoses and treatment options. He listens to our concerns and questions and answers them patiently. He offers sound expert opinions but also helps us to figure out what our own preferences are. My husband and I truly appreciate his skills and bedside manners. his staff is nice, efficient, and very caring.
Absoulte BEST fertility doctor I have used in my quest to achieve pregnancy the last 4 years and counting!!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
