Best decision I have ever made. I would not have felt as comfortable or as safe having this procedure with anyone other than Dr. Laura Machado. In my opinion she is the best Bariatric Doctor. She has always been easily accessible for any questions and/or concerns I have had and has provided all necessary information for me to make the medical decisions that were best for me and my situation. The support and aftercare from her and her staff is phenomenal. I believe she goes above and beyond for her patients.

I couldn’t have asked for a better program. Not only does Dr. M do surgery but the after care is second to none. Her and Lori are always there for help and encouragement. This is a life time commitment from them as well, I had my surgery in 21 and I continue to get on going support from the team!! 100% recommend !!!

I am so happy I finally decided to go through with Dr Machado. She walked me through the entire process and made sure I was ready to have surgery. I love that she will be there for me no matter how long I need help on this journey. The first month after was the hardest but because I was prepared so well for it, it wasn’t as tough as it might have been had I have gone with a different surgery. The whole staff at Sac Bariatric are pleasant, helpful and most of all they care about the struggles you face at times. They have many resources to assist you in this lifelong journey.

In October 2018, Dr. Machado performed my vertical sleeve gastrectomy and it was the best decision of my life second to marrying my husband. Dr. Machado and staff were so kind yet firm and have a great support system to help you reach your goals. Almost five years post surgery and I have maintained my weight loss for over four years. Dr. Machado gives you all the tools for success and all the support you need to get there. Run, don’t walk. It will be the best decision you can make.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in this journey than I had with Dr. Machado and Lori. They are so supportive (sometimes bordering on therapy 😂) when I come in for my follow up visits with any frustrations. They are so knowledgeable and patient with any questions I have. When I had an issue on the weekend, I received a call back from Dr. Machado within 10 minutes. I highly recommend these wonderful ladies for anyone looking to start a Bariatric journey.

1st-Dr.Machado is extremely knowledgeable and talented. 2nd-Lori is knowledgeable and so kind and supportive and through the entire process before, during and after surgery. 3rd-Clover in the front office is so friendly and extremely helpful and responsive. Through my entire journey this far I have felt comfortable and supported and never left feeling alone or scared. I highly recommend this office if you are considering any type of weight loss procedure. Bonus perk is the private Facebook group that you are let into once you have your procedure, it is an entire community of Dr. Machado’s patients and everyone is supportive and shares their experiences.
