List of Uc Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center's Reviews
Unfortunately I have been there too many times. Great staff, excellent care and has family areas to rest.
My husband has been seen here for his leukemia. Pain management is nonexistent for bone marrow pulls, lumbar punctures, PICC lines, or any other procedures he has endured these last 10 months. Students preform most procedures so they are done improperly this includes lumbar punctures and chemotherapy in his spine. Nursing staff on Davis 8 (the cancer floor) are great! Very attentive. Extremely kind. Cannot thank them enough for all of their care. If you need a transplant live, the transplant board will deny you. Even if you are healthy and pass all physical fitness testing needed. The treating doctor will lead you on. Have you meet with the transplant team. Tell you they have a donor match for your transplant. Then the IC Davis transplant board will deny you. If you need life saving care for cancer do not seek care at UC Davis
Can’t say enough about Dr. Leiserowitz and his staff. If possible try to be referred here, as this office is so thoughtful and thorough with your file and so understanding and caring with any questions you have. Even though I hope to never have to return, if I do, I know I will be in great care with everyone who works here.
You are a number only in a big system. Not a patient.
Needed lab work done wasn't given proper instructions and had to make three different visits instead of two. The person I told didn't even care. Terrible service
I am very disappointed with Dr.Aurora. her neglect with my 42 year old daughter is heart breaking. If she is in fact terrible then communicate that. Putting her off is cruel. She is dying as far as she knows. She can't get an appointment til may! ...it is now January. Shame on you..
God forbid you should ever need their services but they are professional, helpful/courteous, encouraging and above all intelligent/knowledgable medical professionals.
My son has been receiving treatments here for the last four years and we are always welcomed with a smiling faces and kind words. I can’t thank the team of nurses and staff enough for being so kind to myself and son. Thank you!
Dr. Rachel Ruskin is one of the best gynecological oncologists in the area. She is knowledgeable and has a great deal empathy for her patients. I got my relative in as her patient as a second opinion doctor. Malissa, the RN in Dr. Ruskin’s office was extraordinarily helpful when I called in with a question. Many times I couldn’t get an answer from my relative’s primary oncologist and so I would call UC Davis to get help. When my relative passed away, I got a condolence card from Dr. Ruskin and Malissa. Nothing at all from the primary oncologist (non-UC). My relative’s primary oncologist was obviously envious of Dr. Ruskin and fought against Ruskin’s recommendations.
They are one of the best I would recommend to anyone who is going through a hard time dr Antony is the greatest doctor very kind very nice very polite a soft spoken doctor. Also nurse Melinda is a most beautiful kind person such a kind hearted nurse love her!❤️ thank you guys for the care of my son. And all the nurses staff are full of kind hearted also very clean very neat facility I wouldn’t trade this place for any other.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
