Had a weekend appointment and there's no one in the parking lot to make sure people go to the right section and all doors in the regular parking garage to the elevators was locked with no written instructions so me and two other patients wandered the parking lot until we finally made it. Receptionist was rude. The parking here sucks, good luck if you come on a weekend.
Great doctors. Set up in the office is very efficient and comfortable. However, I NEVER can get anyone on the phone to help reschedule appointments or give any info needed. I try to use the online portal, but it is very slow and not good for customer service.
I had emergency surgery on my cervical spine in January. My injuries left me with paralyzed legs, arms and hands. After 4 weeks and intensive therapy in UCD's rehab hospital, the hospital referred me for at home therapy followed by outpatient therapy. My primary was supposed to follow up and provide the referrals for the outpatient therapy. My discharge instructions were clear: follow up with my PCP within 1-2 weeks. When I arrived the first thing the doctor said was he had only been booked for 10-15 minutes and choose my top 3 issues because he didn't have time. He tried to refer me back to the surgeon. He tried to claim he wasn't even my primary. Then he finally had to admit he had seen me "a couple of times". (He had been my primary for 2 years.) He then quizzed me about why I left my previous primary. Then he asked if I needed any prescriptions refilled. He kept on schedule by walking out of the room. After much back and forth over my patient portal he finally and reluctantly sent a referral to a PT facility that doesn't provide the type of care I need. He would have known the type of care I needed if he had bothered to talk to me or read the surgeon's recommendations. I don't know what the problem is in primary care at this clinic but I am moving to a different medical group and I would run away from primary care at this clinic as fast as possible. My previous primary there was also argumentative and disrectful. I have been a Davis patient for 7 years and everyone else has been great. I just don't seem to be able to get a good primary there.
This happened with my primary in Folsom: on New Year's Eve my cervical spine collapsed and I had a bone spur that bruised my spinal cord. After a 5 hour emergency surgery I woke up with my arms and legs paralyzed. After discharge from the rehab hospital I went to my primary as per my discharge instructions. He informed me he had only been booked for a 10-15 minute office calls and I should pick my top 3 issues. He stubbornly refused to write the referrals I needed to PT and OT until we basically shamed him into it over the patient portal. Then he sent the referral to a facility that said they could not meet my needs. That must be because he couldn't be bothered to examine me, talk to me or look at the surgeon's recommendations on MyChart. This used to be a great place. Not any more. Run, don't walk away. I am now left to cope with not only my recovery but the mess this doctor made. Oh, and I had to leave a message for patient relations because they're all in a staff meeting.
Friendly front desk employees easy to get to clean place easy to get a appointment friendly doctors and nurses you're in and out out with no problems
Long wait but staff is very helpful
The care is good when you're they're but my primary doctors keep leaving. It took close to a year to get a doctor in the first place, they left after 2 visits. The next doctor left after the first visit. Now I can't even get a primary and am just supposed to keep trying. Unfortunately, i'll probably have to go back to a different system since Davis primary care seems to have abandoned me.
Great friendly staff well knowledgeable on all facets of assisting and answering customers questions
Excellent experience. the doctors were very insightful and transparent. was made to feel like a partner in every step of my daughters care. doctors provided a lot of post visit care information and useful resources on nutrition and building a healthy relationship with technology. Really impressed with the pediatrics care we've received here thus far.
Not having to worry about Paid parking is a huge plus!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
