List of Young Douglas's Reviews
I’m a fan.
As someone who has three autoimmune diseases (one rare) and a heart issue I have seen A LOT of doctors. A few have been great, some have been mediocre, many have left me wondering how they were even able to become a doctor in the first place. Dr. Young falls into the great category. That is not an easy grade to get with me. Unfortunately he is not my primary care physician because of my insurance, but he is my husband s primary care physician and due to my husband s health issues I have been involved in all of his appointments. He has been my husband s doctor for the past few years and in a number of instances he has given us more information, care, and assistance than some of the so called specialists we have dealt with. He is humble to the point he assumes we have already been given that information and he is just stating the obvious. I think Dr. Young and his staff (Nancy and Monica in particular) are awesome and I am happy to have them as part of our health team.
Without a doubt the single most unprofessional person I have ever met in the medical field. Talking with him is brutal, in person and online. He made extremely uncomfortable comments regarding the gay community and he spent more time on his phone than talking to me during our visit. Didn't listen to a thing I said, I had to repeat myself so often and then in the end he still kept ignoring me, eventually shoving me out the door even though he was the one late. He told me to message him my remaining questions, after messaging him then he said instead of messaging me I should just make a video call apt, and during the apt it was obvious he wasn't listening and he kept checking his phone and replying to things on his phone. I gave up, and after a month of trying to get basic help, I cannot recommend him to anyone.

He does not care about patient well being or aiding them in anyway. he will waste your time with pointless visits, tell you nothing and schedule another appointment later only to do the same thing again. Waste of time, money and my sanity...I messes up my knees and he wrote me a work note for a "reduced workload" which states - "don't lift over 25lbs, take a 5min break every 2 hours (which is shorter than the state law minimum), and don't work more than 8hours a day" - for someone having difficulty standing for more than 10-15min at a time, this is worse than useless! He does NOT listen to a damn thing you say and i honestly am starting to think he subtly wants to cause you further injury just so he can keep charging you for his "expert" medical advice. he starts out nice and friendly on the outside, but you'lol quickly realize he's a condescending asshole that could care less about you... Single handedly the WORST doctor I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Oh, and his office staff are rude, condescending, terrible at answering the phones and don't like telling you the addresses of other medical services, such as the X-ray center, overall the whole place is terrible- save yourselves the headache and stay away!!!

Very unprofessional. Does not return patient phone calls. Hires a PA who criminally billed Medicare for procedures that were not performed. When Dr. Young was made aware of the PA's criminal behavior she left the practice, voluntarily, involuntarily? Only Dr. Young knows. Also, Received a call from the lab saying my blood samples were unusable due to too old or not enough blood to sample. Do yourself a favor and find a competent physican.
I had dr. Young a few years back and went to Kaiser and I'm trying desperately need switch my insurance to get back to him and he is it very brilliant man very kind staffing very nice as well awesome doctor!!
Thought dr young was nice in our first visit. Seeing him for severe back pain. I asked him for a note I good give my employer to restrict me from lifting certain things so I don't injure my back anymore than it already is. He said he "doesn't believe" in doing "disability related" things at his office. Also refused to recommend me for an MRI for a knee injury despite my previous doctor having scheduled one prior to the covid outbreak that was cancelled due to the virus. Is exact words were "I think you just need to tough through the pain" I won't be returning to this office again. Very disrespectful and condescending - doesn't care about what his patients are telling him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
