We met him for the first time yesterday. We felt very comfortable with him. He explained everything in detail and alleviated all of the worries that we had. We are very pleased with Dr. Gerber.
I keep calling to make an appointment and they keep putting me on hold and finally not showing up.

I had three new stints placed the end of March 2018 when I was in Chicago. I was told to see my cardiologist ASAP when I returned home. I scheduled an appoint to see Dr. Gerber on Wednesday June 20-18 (unfortunately this was his soonest opening). About 20 minutes after arriving I was told that Dr. Gerber was 1 to 1-1/2 hours behind. I had another appointment which could not be canceled. His PA, Tyler didn't know my history, which did not instill a sense of credibility. When I saw Dr. Gerber in

When I saw Dr. Gerber in the hall upon leaving I expressed my frustration to him and he said, "you are lucky you saw the PA". What arrogance, audacity and lack of care as a doctor ! I have lost all confidence in Dr. Gerber and those associated with his practice. I waited three months post surgery and was treated very unprofessionally. When I asked to see Dr. Gerber in the next couple of weeks I was told it would be another three months before he had an opening. This is unacceptable, and very inconsiderate. It is obvious that Dr. Gerber is not invested in his patients and their care.
Went to him for second opinion on cardiac problem. Found him to be open, honest, straightforward, and very attentive and present. He explained complicated options to me in simple language and was generous with his time. He struck me as genuinely trustworthy

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
