Very happy with Dr. RIchard Kim. I have been seeing him since I was diagnosed with glaucoma 16 years ago, at the Abbott Street office. He is very kind, and always cares about my well being. I had SLT surgery, a year and a half ago, and it was a breeze! Their surgery center is in the same building.The office ladies are very helpful and nice. The parking lot at the Abbott Street office is big, and I don't have trouble finding a spot to park.I highly recommend Dr Richard Kim.

Dr. Kim started seeing my father for glaucoma about 7 years ago. My father had waited too late to seek medical attention and only had about 5% sight in one eye. He could see remarkably well with just this much vision - and I'm sure we owe a lot of that to Dr. Kim. He operated on his eyes and kept him in the medications he needed. NEVER ONCE did Dr. Kim refuse to see my father, even when the problems seemed to be more psychological than medical. He reassured him and my mother with patience and compassion during those times, as well as during regular treatment. My father's biggest fear was of going blind. Sadly he lost his battle to cancer on August 13th but one thing that wasn't taken away from him completely was his sight. Thank you, Dr. Kim, from the bottom of our hearts!
