Myles Goble's Online Review Report Card

I have had an appointment for two months to see Dr. Goble for an EMG today at Noon. We drove across Columbia to arrive a few minutes early so I could do paperwork. When I told the person at the front desk that I had an appointment with Dr. Goble at Noon, she said "he isn't here today". I said that the Columbia Orthopedic Group had scheduled the appointment, she asked my birthdate and said "Oh yes, you did have an appointment but it was canceled. We should have sent you a letter". I said, "No, I didn't get a letter or I wouldn't be here today". Dr. Goble canceling the appointment without advising me is unprofessional, unethical, unacceptable, and unbelievable, and rude. When I told the person who was talking to me that I had an appointment with my Hand Surgeon tomorrow at 10AM to discuss the results, she asked me to wait a minute. She was going to see if they could squeeze me in while I was there. I appreciated her efforts but no test today. I left without a future appointment

Dr Goble listened very carefully to my describing of my symptoms and provided an effective solution. Great bedside manor too.

He rescheduled my appt 3 times and when I finally saw him he was rushed, uninterested in me as a patient and unwilling to discuss my condition. I am unlikely to return to his office. Office staff appears uncaring and uninterested as well.

He gave no effort in figuring out my terrifying symptoms. Thankfully, I found another neurologist who was able to diagnose me correctly. He said it was all psychological. He made a ton of mistakes on my paperwork and he refused to fix any of it, which is extremely dangerous.

Very good doctor but he keeps rescheduling follow up visits. Have had to reschedule visit three times because he ends up with a conflict. My three month revisit is ending up being 8 months because of his rescheduling.

An outstanding doctor who responded to all our concerns with professional and compassionate discussion.

Dealing with the very difficult issues created by Alzheimer's disease, he was both professional and compassionate as he gave helpful points of view in answering our concerns.

Dr. Goble has consistently listened to all questions and concerns regarding my treatment and bedside manner like his is so hard to find.

Dr. Goble has made such a positive impact on my health condition. I feel like his treatment is very individualized and he takes extra time to listen to concerns. Never have felt rushed and overall just appreciate the care as I feel it has made all the difference for me.

I think Dr. Goble is a competent doctor, his office staff on the other hand is inept. They don't answer questions, they won't schedule an appointment when you need it. I was having major issues and was told I could see him at my scheduled appoint which was in 4 months. I talked to my family doctor who got me with a different neurologist. Got in to see that doctor and now well on the way to recovery. My appointment is still 2 months away with Dr. Goble. Needless to say, that will be cancelled.
