Horrible!! He asked me what were my symptoms were and when I told him, he immediately said he is probably not the doctor I needed to see? (After 2 answers) When I continued, he argued round and round about my symptoms and what would cause it, etc - when it is something I have been dealing with for 3 years? I Do know my body and what it is doing as opposed to someone who met me for 5 minutes? Then he was extremely rude and nasty when he 'barked' at me to tell me to put my mask back on when I took a drink because after talking my mouth was dry - I had my mask on the entire time except to drink!? I was appalled and just left at that point.....How sad and disappointing when you wait for an appt for 4 months and need the help and to be treated in such a way? Just shocking to say the least!? I would say if you need a cardiologist - keep looking because this one is just hateful!
My Father has been in the hospital for 17 days. He had undergone a battery of testing but was told repeatedly that the decision of treatment was to be determined the following day. He was told this on the 6th day after he was admitted. He was told this for the following 10 days. I was able to reach Dr. Chan yesterday. He noted there was a meeting planned for today regarding the cardio patients at the hospital my father is in. I should note that Dr. Chan is not my father’s doctor but as the head of Cardioligy, he made a point of contacting me today to keep me abreast of the course of treatment for my dad as well as the dates and who would be the physician. I was completely impressed with Dr. Chan. Would like to be able to thank him in person. Top notch doctor. This type of personal service is unheard of .
Dr Chan is the guy you want! Top of the game and very knowledgeable
I had an Angiogram done this month by Dr Chan. I was told to bring my eye glasses into the procedure with me so I could also see my Heart. Didn’t happen and heard the Dr and nurses speaking of a party they attended! Plus whom took longer to come off HANGOVER! Not impressed. Very disappointed ☹️

you healed my orbital fraction
Good
Excellent doctor! He repaired my heart defect yesterday and it went smoothly. I found him to be attentive, well informed and very helpful. During my consult his answered my entire (annoyingly) long list of questions and concerns, and on surgery day, everything was right on time, he updated my family and gave me a picture of the device in my heart. Overall, A+!
My mom was admitted for a second time with a heart attack this year. She has multiple problems with her lungs, leg arteries, and kidney. One of the cardiologists tried to unblock her blood vessels but it was not successful. We were told just to continue with medicine. She remained in the hospital and was admitted to the ICU several times over the next few weeks because of fluid in the lungs and she required machine to help to breathe. She was finally referred to Dr. Chan and we were told by the other doctor that he would be the only one that could help my mom. We waited for another week in the hospital for the procedure because they could find a time to fit my mom for the surgery. At the surgery, Dr. Chan finished in one hour and came out to tell us all her arteries were unblocked. There were 8 stents put in two blood vessels. He also showed us the pictures of how the blood vessels looked at the end. We greatly appreciated that and this helped us to understand. My mom was discharged home a couple of days after, and she has been doing well. Dr. Chan was amazing. He was very pleasant to us and was highly skilled. It was worth everything to wait for Dr. Chan. He has saved my mom’s life. We highly recommend Dr. Chan.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
