Our family has had the privilege of working with FirstLight Home Care for the last 18 months - The professionalism and personal care the team has provided, not only for my Mother (who suffers from Lewy Body Dementia), but also to my elderly Father (who is in the home with his wife, and who has his own special age-related needs). The Care team works together w my Sister and I, to place new caregivers who have the best experience, to work w our Mother. The Care team then oversee training, and provides hands-on supervision of the their caregivers in our parent’s home.We have worked with multiple Home Care agencies, since our Mother’s initial diagnosis 2+ years ago. Without question- FirstLight Home care provides the absolute best care and support for our family during this very difficult time. Thank you Jim for all your help!

At a time when I needed help the most FirstLight was there for my family. My mother was very ill with COVID in an assisted living facility that did not have the capacity for 24/7 caregiving. Jim and Sue came through with qualified, loving and caring caregivers. They are always quick to respond, very flexible with ever changing schedules and understanding when a particular caregiver wasn't a good match. We are so grateful for their attention to my mother during a very stressful time. Highly recommend their services for caregiving.

It was my pleasure to use First Light homecare as a caregiver during January and part of February. My caregiver, Shannon, was a delight. Their brochure describes the services they provide, & she did them all. After a few days, she knew what & when to do most everything, including what I liked for lunch. Should I need a caregiver in the future, First Light will be the company I call. They offer a complimentary consultation. Plus, the first day the caregiver arrives, one of their management personnel also arrives to introduce the parties. Great service.

Jim and Cherrylyn were extremely fast and responsive when signing on for their services. Our residential facility is grateful for the caregivers they sent. They were extremely communicative when addressing our needs and super easy to work with. Highly recommend!

BEYOND EXCELLENT, QUICK TO RESPOND and INCREDIBLE TO WORK WITH!In 25 years this will be the first review I have done. The reason for my review today is because during these incredibly challenging times of finding immediate and quality caregivers who can also work with Covid patients, my community has been saved due to the quick and ultimate professional work by FirstLight Home Care of the Peninsula. Not only were the caregivers excellent, kind and caring, there was never a hesitation to do a double for a last minute emergency. This team is YOUR answer!
