List of Susan T. Butler's Reviews
Dr. Butler identified a basal cell carcinoma on the tip of my nose and performed a Mohr’s surgery on it. She had to go three levels deep. She replaced the excised skin with a graft from in front of my ear. There was no pain and it healed well.

Received adequate medical care; extremely displeased with the billing and revenue generating aspect of this facility. Doctor moved out of the area from Los Gatos, but no one ever called to notify me. I called the night before my appointment to confirm, and was told she moved and that my appointment had been canceled. Charged for EVERYTHING and run as a business not as patient care. Patients are not valued, just their pocket books.
She did an excellent job removing a cyst from the side of my head, right behind my ear. Fast, painless and it healed 100% perfectly. I highly recommend her because she is holistic and a great surgeon.
Dr. Butler performed Moh's surgery to remove a cancerous tissue on my cheek earlier this year. After the area healed, I can't see any trace of a scar now. Even my regular dermatologist commented on the good job.
Susan has, literally, saved my life. My HypC has been undetected until she recommended/alarmed me that those "red dot's" on my skin maybe a sign of liver problems and it was confirmed. She went beyond her specialty and duty to make sure that I get full attention from everyone, involving my primary physician. I'm now cured, as far as analysis prove.
I was willing to wait through tedious hold times and wait 3 months to get an appointment to see Dr. Butler so I patiently waited through the long line of phone trees to finally receive someone on the line to take my information as a new patient. The new patient registration abruptly stopped when I explained I just completed a successful financial transition in my life and would be paying cash in June after being on Medi-cal. I was told that the office prohibits any new patients associated with medi-cal even when paying cash. I felt humiliated, discriminated against, and embarrassed that not even my paid in full cash is welcome at this dermatologist because of a past association with Medi-cal. It is my perception the office is using the "new patient registration process" to closely screen and discriminate.
Dr. Butler was recommended to me by my primary care physician whom I like and trust. I phoned Dr. Butler's office to make an appointment and was on hold for over 5 minutes before I was able to request an appointment. The receptionist - presumably very busy but perhaps just rude - became inexplicably annoyed when she learned that I was a new patient, told me that Dr. Butler was booking now for mid-May (it's March 8 today), and informed me she'd transfer me to register with another office before she could book me. Fine. Whatever.I was, of course, immediately disconnected when she tried to transfer me.My first impression of this business and the level of care they provide is very, very low. I booked an appointment with another doctor elsewhere without hassle and with much more professionalism.
Dr B is personable, friendly, professional, skilled, expert, accommodating and engaging. I saw her for Mohs surgery and a few other bits and pieces. She took extra care and time to make sure I had the best scarline possible, and didn't mind taking care of other minor issues in the same visit. Easy to schedule appointments with, and very communicative.
I've actually had the opposite experience than what other folks are saying about Dr. Butler being unavailable. As a new patient, i was able to see her within a week of inquiring and she made me feel completely comfortable. She was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, listened, and was thorough. The second time i had to see Dr. Butler, the appointment was booked a few months out. However, she was very accessible via E-mail and i felt i needed to see her sooner. She was able to extend her hours to take me in almost in an ad hoc situation.I highly recommend Dr. ButlerSonny

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
