List of Hitesh K Patel's Reviews
I wish i could give one star. The front office is the most unprofessional and untrained people i have ever come across. I wanted an appt with Dr Patel for a neurological issue. I was told i needed a referral from my doctor faxed to then, which she did right away. 4 days go by and no word, so i called and was continually sent to voice mail with no response. I went to the office and they told me they never received it, so i had my doctor refax it. another 2 days and no response. i went back to the office again and was told they just throw referral faxes away if they dont recognize it?! I told them im having it refaxed in one hour and please dont throw it away. i went back a third time and the person who does the referral was actually in the office, so i spoke to her, she still did not have the fax! She said she would call my doctor and get it that way. The next day i got a call from her saying she cant give me an appt because the referral was for UROLOGY! by this time i am really losing it. My doctor, bless her heart, called them personally and explained i wanted to see a NEUROLOGIST. And today i got a voicemail from them explaining they now need a referral from my OPTHAMOLOGIST!! I dont know about the other memorial care offices but do not go to the San Clemente office unless you want to have a heart attack dealing with low IQ people who dont give a damn.
I noted 1 as there is nothing inferior that can be noted. I initially called the general line to make an appointment. There was never answer with a live voice. I left several messages. My call was finally returned by someone with a cell phone who noted that I need a referral from my GP, even though I have a PPO plan. My GP made the referral, I continued to call and leave messages with the 3rd party cell phone voicemail. I never received a return call. Amazing these people are still in business with this sort of business practice.
Dr. Patel is great. My mom has seen him for years and I attend all visits.
Listens, spends needed time,I like his approach to medical questions.
I feel very comfortable with Dr. Patel. He explains things very well, speaks to me in a clear and understanding method. I trust him and like him very much. I highly recommend him.
This doctor is very confrontational. He told me I can never do boxing again without seeing my scans. I asked him you can tell that without seeing any of my scans? He got all mad and raised his voice saying “ I don’t need to see any scans to tell you no okay OKAY.” I was shocked how this doctor was talking to me another grown adult.
Neurologists have a reputation for being cold and impersonal, with big egos. That is not true of Dr. Patel. He is caring, supportive, and makes good recommendations.
I go to see Dr. Patell often because of my migraines, he’s very knowledge, patient and understanding while he had to change the prescription for me a few times because of the said effects I was experiencing. Wonderful Dr.and amazing team.
As always, very professional, polite, concerned and interested in facilitating my transition to another doctor in another state.
Dr. Patel was informative and attentive to my elderly father

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
