List of Acusport Health Center's Reviews
I started doing acupuncture in Arizona after arguing with a coworker about how there is no way it could work. I was dealing with severe lower back pain and was amazed on how well it worked. When I moved to California I had a hard time finding a good practitioner and for the most part gave up. That was until a friend of mine referred me to Aquilino Sariano. The time and care he took was as amazing as was the results; highly recommended. After a couple of years going to him when the pain was to great I had some pain that just couldn't wait. Unfortunately I was looking for a last minute appointment and Aquilino was not available. The receptionist told that Yael Ben-Potrat was available so I decided to roll the dice. Again I received nothing but the best with care, patience, and top notch results. I had to take a moment to give a shout out to Acusport for delivering nothing but the best. Highly recommend!
(I’m typing/walkin pls forgive my punctuation) Here goes Ohhhhhhhhyeeeeaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!! Today I called in soooo much pain. I am a metal sculptor and my hand/forearm was ON FIRE. I haven’t been able to open jars or use a screwdriver without excruciating pain, which is ridiculous. I’ve been wielding a hammer on Thor level for the last 20 years. Amanda, gatekeeper Extraordinaire, answered the phone And said they were fully booked … and then she asked how much pain I was in, she insisted on calling me back. Two minutes later, Yael (meridian whisperer/chi gangster), told me to come in. I’ve been seeing Yael for years I’ve been till about a year ago when I decided to be codependent, put mask on other people before taking care of myself….. ha…ha. Which is why my body is in the state that it’s in. Anyway, This is about the 20th time that I’ve called Yael in excruciating pain…. she never fails. I always walk out and at least 60% less pain and most times not feeling any at all. Now I need to tell you This is real Acupuncture. This isn’t the kind of place where I come with an issue and they just do some generic seven needle “energy work”. She listens…. If you are new to Acupuncture If you need, Maybe a little afraid of needles but want to try acupuncture for an issue, she will meet you where you’re at. She regularly uses moxa, massage, cupping, and e-stim…. Now, if you are a Acupuncture veteran and need someone who isn’t scared of getting into that hip joint with a 6 inch needle, threading your sacrum, rockin a dragon tail or perhaps releasing heat from your fingertips…. Yael is who you need. I also see Yael To be treated with Chinese herbal medicine… At times (always), I’ve felt rundown, had allergies, headaches and migraines, nervy nerves and occasional inconvenient, swinging emotions. When I bring this to her, she will ask me a whole bunch of weird questions about this stuff like about phlegm or my skin or if I have ringing in my ears …. She then, Either brings me what I need or has it compounded. It works. I’m not saying it works kind of. The herbal compounds are like the Neosporin under the Band-Aid. That is a crappy analogy, but basically whatever I’m doing or not doing it put stress on my organs And that result in headaches and allergies and nerves and mood swings. The herbal remedies Sure up my organs to help them heal, and my symptoms dissipate. The Acupuncture kind of treats the Symptom and the herbs really seem to treat the injury or problem. Thus far, the only side effect I have to any of her compounded medicine is The face I make when I drink it. I have had an amazing experience with everyone there, and they have helped me heal from countless and probably avoidable injuries/accidents that I’ve had… I could go on and on and on about all of the other practitioners at Acusport but I’m working on my codependency today and letting go. So instead, I would like to say that I encourage anyone to go experience this Radness for themselves. Namastealohachakakhan may the force be with u
I had some sort of tinnitus, a really loud wooshing in my right ear, that was freaking me out and totally distracting. I went to Aquilino for a treatment yesterday, and about 3-4 hour after the treatment it dissapated then totally vanished. Huge win!
Expert care here! Technicians are educated and well trained; always a positive result and highly recommend! Space is zen like and calming. Front desk is efficient and kind. Best results of any previous acupuncture experience!

The best healing and sports physio spot in San Diego! A+++
I recently got an appointment with Emilie at Acusport on short notice for terrible wrist pain. Despite the urgency, she got me in promptly and provided incredibly helpful acupuncture. After just a short session, I felt significantly better. As a long-time client, I've relied on their services for years. Acupuncture at Acusport always helps me recover swiftly from wrist pain, crucial for my work as a tattoo artist. Emilie truly is a lifesaver!

I have been managing a chronic fatigue disease for the past two years and the only thing that has kept me going was Acupuncture from Acusport! The staff is amazing and Yael is a rock star!
Very pleased with the staff, cleanliness of the facility and ease of getting in and appointments set up with VA healthcare.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
