Alvarado Hospital Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

beware : do not go to this hospital if you want to live !! they will kill you and not think twice about it !!! they killed my brother & right before his death  they were giggling and laughing in the hallway as he was laying in excruciating pain !! they refused him a doctor and his medication that he literally was begging to take . they didn't even  try to attempt to save him after he went into cardiac arrest !! for the nurses and doctors on that shift  ( you know who you are ) you knew what you did  (medical negligence) & will be hearing from a lawyer ... you guys are wrong  and if you dont know how to control your emotions you shoudnt be in the healthcare field !! i will dedicate my life to seeing justice for my brother i will never let it rest !!! im just in utter disbelief the hospital is supposed to save you not kill you !!!

A Death Hospital ... Do yourself a favor & choose elsewhere. They have no resources Doctors or Nurses they have STUDENTS !! Wow

This is the worst hospital!  My Dad was taken to Alvarado because Sharp was full.  I've heard the stories about this place and now I know.  Some nurses were very nice, but most of the staff and doctors were just plain rude, seemed not to care and did not know what was going on with my Dad.  People should not work in healthcare if they lack compassion.  My Dad was in the hospital for 5 days before the doctor talked to us even though we had requested to speak with the doctor every day.  My Dad didn't eat much because the food was so bad, it looked horrible.  If you have an option of another hospital take it, never again!

Dr William Moseley testified in court he can look at a patient and tell what is wrong with them ! He admitted in court hes never treated a patient with my injuries yet pretends to be a expert .Complete bias Dr who works for insurance avoid him if you want to be treated fair !

I would like to take the time to thanks the wonderful doctor, nurses and ER tech who took such excellent care of me, I came to the hospital not feeling well and scared, the charge nurse immediately escorted me to a bed, I was shown so much kindness and reassurance, Dr Kilian nurse Lexi and ER tech Anaissa took great care of me. I was treated with such great service, Laura the secretary came and made sure I had my call light, even the admission rep Jessie B went over all my billing information I felt comfortable and well cared for, I was d/c and felt so much better. Thank you so much Alvarado hospital ER staff.Thanks for all the hard work you all do!

I am completely TERRIFIED! Reading these reviews. I am considering canceling my surgery and waiting for a different hospital. Consider how ppl feel when reading your reviews Alvarado! How can someone feel comfortable coming in to have surgery at your facility let alone an emergency. 😲😲😲Well I'm still here!3/14 Praise God! I changed my stars because of 1 amazing doctor and 4 outstanding nurses. Dr. Wittgrove you're Outstanding! One of the prep nurses I talked her ear off because I was nervous, but she let me with a smile! Night nurse George kudos to you 👏🏾 outstanding! Yes! I heard every single time you entered my room! Thank you for your kindness and taking such good care of me. I know it's your job but not everyone puts their heart in it!You're an ANGEL! God bless you! Shout out to the wonderful team at the Same day services. I had a laser back surgery with Dr. Kim. He is very knowledgeable and super personal.  His team was also absolutely wonderful.I would like to thank the nurses that took care of me after my surgery. You were all so helpful and kind to me, I really appreciate it! Thank you All for for what you do!

if you are in an emergency this is not the place to go, i went with a very large cut that should've received an mri and x ray but they had me wait in the waiting room for about 2 hours and then sat me in a bed for another hour. once i was seen they just cleaned out the wound and stitched me up. This is the worst hospital i've ever been to. Sadly i've made trips to multiple emergency facilities but have never experienced worse care than i did here. they were extremely inconsiderate. spoke to me as if i had pissed them off by walking in. when speaking on the phone they're don't know what customer service is. when asking them to send my bill they spoke to me in a very rude matter after waiting on hold for about 20 minutes.
