I just moved to town and Christie Clinic is the only dr who takes my insurance... I went in because I’ve been getting pretty bad headaches and frequent sinus problems. The nurse was rude and Dr. Date barely said 2 words to me. He didn’t care about what was going on with me and suggested I had migraines instead but did nothing to follow up about it. I also asked about my thyroid and he seemed to not care at all. I can tell this is an example of someone who practices medicine for their own benefit and not for the well being of others. It’s sad that now I’ll have to drive to Peoria for better care.

Dr Date successfully removed my daughters tonsils and adenoids and for that I’m grateful but when working with him do not expect any sort of time or explanation as to how it will be done. Like many others on this site, he spent 5 min with us in the office and never even introduced himself. I had confidence that on the day of surgery he would explain more but when I asked some questions he became very defensive and walked out of the room. My questions were not complicated or rude so I don’t understand his demeanor. He appears to not be able to communicate well with his patients and families. We hope to never have to use him again but are grateful things went well.

Horrible. No time with patient, no medical history, dismissal of patient's perceptions, rude nurse. Only wants to do surgery for his own benefit.

I would recommend Dr. Date to my family and friends. He was pleasant and kind and understood my symptoms and looked at my CAT scan and new what I needed to relieve the pain I have having for eight weeks. He was very polite and understanding. I would definitely recommend him and his staff.

Terrible. Gets one star for having a semi-nice receptionist. Dr. Date was shockingly rude considering this was a first visit with many referrals. He was rushed, argued with me and then insulted my intelligence by accusing me of not taking my allergy medication. He does not know how to talk to his patients and I have considerable reservations about his skills (since he played quiet on any alternatives even though I later discovered I did, in fact, have more options). An incompetent jerk.

I was referred to Dr Date because I was having difficulty breathing through my nose. After being escorted to an examination room a nurse applied a topical anasthesia to my nostrils. Dr Date came in. He put the nasal speculum up to my nose, barely inserted it, didn't even look inside my nose, did not insert the light scope tube, and within 30-60 seconds of walking in, pronounced that my septum is perfectly normal. I saw another ent. My diagnosis: collapsed nasal valve, deviated septum, and SMR.

Dr. Date was rude, rushed and impersonal. He told me I didn't belong in his office (I had been referred by a doctor) and needed to go to a primary care physician. He basically refused to treat me, spent a minute with me to admonish me, and then I was left with the bill. I complained to the other ENT who sees my son who apologized for his behavior. I would never ever go back to Date. Do not go to the doctor.

I found Dr. Date very rude! Almost snotty/condensending! He is not the doctor he describes himself to be on the website at least with my first and last experience with Dr. Date. I paid $20 bucks to get a minute of his time. My son asked when he left when do I get the checkup if that tells you how much time he spent with us. So glad I took the time and spent the money to bring my son in to see him. The only reason I saw him was because another doctor referred me to take my son to see him.

Dr Date was Fantastic! I have had sinus issues for years. Immediately upon meeting him I felt completely confident with him doing surgery! I had a great experience with him as my surgeon!

Dr. Date has great bedside manners, spends ample with you on appointments, and is an excellent surgeon. This was my first surgical experience and I was very happy with the staff, the nurses and the hospital, and every aspect of my experience.
