Dr. Saleh can do this brilliant thing where he conveys that he is concerned and cares, but also that he believes in you to overcome whatever you're going through. He is intelligent, competent, thorough-- everything you would hope for in a doctor-- and then he goes beyond that. Yes, he'll fix you up medically. But he doesn't see you as broken, and that can really mean a lot if you're sick and you haven't felt like yourself for a while. He'll put you at ease, and send you off with a winning game plan. There are people from all walks of life in his waiting room. Whatever your situation, he's on your team and ready to help.

Almost a year later and I still am thankful to be a patient of Dr. Saleh's! I was previously scarred by my old PCP that wouldn't give me the time of day. I came in for a school physical and Dr. Saleh did just that and more. He even checked in on a few issues I came to him initially for, a year ago! I feel comfortable bringing up anything to him. I recommend Dr. Saleh to everyone. Seriously, I tell all my friends and family how great he is. Dr. Saleh is the best kept secret, but everyone deserves an amazing doctor like him.

Thanks Dr Saleh for the cortisone solution to my shoulder and hip! Dr Saleh made room in his busy day for me when I was in severe pain. He came through when I was certainly in need. My visits were quick, but thorough. He was also willing to analyze my situation on a Zoom call. Thanks again. Much appreciated!

Dr. Saleh is amazing!! I'm so happy with my decision to switch to him as my PCP. I had a laundry list of things I wanted to bring up with him, and he really took the time to talk to me about everything. He was very open and happy to refer me to the doctors that I preferred. He is very approachable, knowledgeable, and has great bedside manner. I recommend him to anyone looking for a new PCP. I wish I had switched to him sooner!!

Dr. Saleh has joined the practice at Shelter Island Medical Group. Same office as my long time (~15 years) primary care physician Dr. Edward Chambers. Just had my first appointment with Dr. Saleh for my annual physical. It went extremely well and I was impressed. He was smart, thorough and didn't rush. What impressed me most is it is so easy to see he is genuinely concerned about my health and listens very well. Dr. Saleh practices Family Medicine, Sports Medicine and Occupational Medicine at Shelter Island Medical Group. I happened to overhear one of the nurses talking about his extensive background in Sports Medicine working as Team Doctor for sports teams (like the San Diego Gulls). I recommend Dr. Saleh.

Very nice Doctor. I was looking for a new primary care and decided to use him because he was close to my work. He saw me after a small troubling surgery I had. He was able to refer me to a specialist and was not weird about giving me some good pain meds ( which I needed). Since then he has become my wifes primary care doc and has helped her with her wrists. Anyways...nice guy, nice place and easy to set an appointment.
