List of Anoop Karippot's Reviews
Explained my medical complications and addressed it in simple words and comforted me. I felt I was getting help.
This man wrote in my notes "Illogical and lacking insight".Then yelled at me over not feeling comfortable giving him information. He then proceeded to go to the next patient and yell at them as well. Extreme anger issues and a huge ego.
Rude dude.
Very empathetic physician, spent good time with the patient, diagnosed the condition correctly. Note that the front desk staff doesn't always answer or return calls. Overall good service.
Dr. Karippot is the rudest and most disrespectful doctor I've ever seen. He is impatient and treats his patients in a condescending and belittling way. I don't care if you have an MD, as that does not give you a license to be a jerk, Dr. Karippot.
Was referred to the doc. The first time around I waited for an hour and a half because I was informed he had an emergency. No one provided us any updates so we finally rescheduled and left. Today I waited for him for 40 minutes. The nurse had informed us that he was running late, was on the freeway headed to the office, and would be with us in the next 10 minutes. No updates from staff but as we stepped into front office after 40 mins we met the doctor sauntering in. He was rude, and unapologetic, saying he had to take care of patients as needed. I don’t think he has any respect for the patients’ time.
Very helpful and compassionate man. He was insightful after us having other psychiatrists he seems to be more knowledgeable than any other we have had experience with in San Diego.
Dr. Karippot is a rude and egotistical "doctor" with a condescending attitude and questionable billing practices. Posting here because even though I was an inpatient patient of his at Scripps Memorial, he tried to bill through this "Akane" institute....which I assume he did to try and get more money out of me and my insurance company (as an out of network provider). When my insurance refused to pay ...
Karippott is an amazing Dr. who is fully booked out for a reason. I have had several other Psychiatric treat my illness over the years and non have been as knowledgeable, helpful, and insightful. He gave me hope and support in the most critical time of my onset in 2016. I wish there were more in his profession with the same approach and concern for his patients. I have been in critical condition and Dr. Karippott was right by the phone to help adjust medications. I 100% recommended him’
I went for my first visit for mental health treatment to see Anoop Karippott at the Annick clinic. I waited 45 minutes in patient room after my appointment and then went to desk to check on reason for my wait. Nothing was said to me about an emergency or issue with my appointment when I checked in early for my appointment. While I was at desk, Karippot walked in door 50 minutes after my appointment time speaking on his cell phone with a Starbucks coffee in his hand. Horrible service and very unprofessional. Why trust your innermost thoughts and care for someone who cares so little about his patient? Rating is really a zero but that is not allowed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
