This place is truly one-of-a-kind! After walking through infertility for years and multiple miscarriages, these ladies met me with deep compassion, knowledge, and support. I went on to have more miscarriages while under their care and they provided me such compassionate support difficult to put into words. Both Dr. Ghoncheh and Emily are extremely knowledgeable about natural conception, IUI, and IVF and very well-connected to the local fertility community, aiding in helping me find the right doctors and support when I needed it. I have been to 5 different acupuncture places throughout my lifetime (3 of them being fertility specific) and this one is impossible to beat!!! I love Aphrodite Acupuncture! I started going here during pregnancy and saw Emily every time. I felt like this really helped with my pregnancy symptoms (so much nausea) in the first trimester, and with calming my nervous system with the rest of the pregnancy. She was also able to do points to help lead into labor going into my 40th week. Emily is such a warm and caring person, the start of each appointment was almost like a mini therapy session and then the acupuncture itself was a great way to zone out, have a feeling of calm, and usually get a really great nap. She’s also incredibly knowledgeable on pregnancy in general and she put my mind at ease about weird symptoms and anxieties throughout the pregnancy. I plan to come here for postpartum treatments really soon. I would highly recommend Aphrodite Acupuncture to anyone going through fertility/pregnancy!

When I first came to Aphrodite, I knew nothing about my body and I didn't know where to start/what to do on my TTC journey. I started working with Ghoncheh and let me tell you, I learned so much from day one. She is caring, knowledgeable, and helpful! It was through her I was able to learn and understand my body because she truly listens and understands you. Once I learned so much, I was able to get the right testing done at my doctor's to be properly diagnosed, in which she continued to help me by giving me amazing advice on changing my lifestyle habits and different aspects to support my fertility to better my chances. Not to mention, the acupunture of course has helped me so much through what can be a very stressful journey, by helping to regulate my nervous system and blood flow, keeping me calm and relaxed. It also in return helped my cycle become more regular. Before acupunture, my cycles were so much more irregular, I would skip months. Overall, I feel so lucky to have found this place and have worked with her on my journey. It is more than just acupunture, it was the support and guidance I needed on this fertility journey, which I truly believed got me to where I am today. I am now currently 19 weeks pregnant and am continuing to work with Ghoncheh to help support my pregnancy and plan to do it up until I give birth to also help support a healthy labor with their prenatal acupunture treatments. I started working with Ghoncheh at Aphrodite Acupuncture in August 2023. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for about 10 months and I struggled to calculate the days of my cycle due to spotting. For a process that is so naturally human, I was feeling frustrated and embarrassed that I didn't know my body better. From our first visit, Ghoncheh made me feel comfortable as she listened to my story and educated me about the role hormones and overall circulation play in conception. It's more than just acupuncture at Aphrodite. With the guidance I receive from Ghoncheh, I feel more knowledgeable about my body and empowered to make healthier choices for me and my partner. Every visit starts with a check-in and Ghoncheh is patient and forthcoming with information -- an experience I haven't always had in traditional western medicine offices. While I went in with the intention to become pregnant, I've experienced some benefits from acupuncture that I was not anticipating. First off, my circulation has vastly improved! Before acupuncture, the tips of my fingers would turn white when I was cold and that has completely stopped. Also about four months into my treatment, my dad died which produced a level of grief I've never experienced before. Going to acupuncture weekly during this time helped me regulate my nervous system and process some really tough feelings. I can proudly say that I am now 18 weeks pregnant and confident the acupuncture I received before and during my first trimester contributed to my easy pregnancy so far. I am forever grateful to have found Aphrodite Acupuncture and will continue to work with Ghoncheh for the remainder of my pregnancy as I consider her an important part of my care team. Ghoncheh is the absolute BEST. She makes navigating the fertility/infertility experience so easy to understand, which is one of the many things lacking in modern day American medicine. I can't believe it's been a year that I have been going to Aphrodite acupuncture. I was fortunate enough to be seen by both Emily and Ghoncheh. They are both SO AMAZING, very caring and gifted acupuncturists. They have been alongside every step of my fertility journey and I cannot be more grateful for them. They are such a great resource, always sharing tons of valuable information that I actually use and is relevant, always answering questions and available even after appointments via text messages. They take the time to listen, and no question is a dumb question ever. I'm now pregnant after a break I took from my doctor's treatments. During this time, I never stopped my acupuncture treatments because I believe in them so much. I know I would not have had the same outcome without their help. I'm now going for pregnancy acupuncture and so far I've had a pretty easy pregnancy, even on the first trimester.
