I would recommend Dr Katsman and his staff 100% they are wonderful ,I've always had good experiences and the Dr explains everything his going to do I like that because there no surprises you always know what to expect.
A good tip for all concerned. An optometrist is not a doctor. They are qualified to calculate your vision prescription and help you pick out new eye glasses. For reading or distance, or even lens that transition from one purpose to another. An opthamologist is an MD who completed med school and then jumped through all the hoops necessary before going back to school for several years and then doing another residency where they get first hand experience in treating all kinds of eye diseases. They learn state of the art diagnostic techniques to pinpoint problems and then treat them using lasers and expensive state of the art equipment to guide them in treating common diseases such as cataracts, macular degeneration, etc., plus injuries caused by any number of things from mislabeled cleansers to gun shot damage. A seasoned opthamologist on top of his specialty can be a lifesaver in treating diseases and injuries to the eye and the complicated systems that support it. So, pay the extra $50-100 and see an opthamologist rather than an optometrist for anything more than a lens prescription adjustment. About Dr. Kauffman. I have cataracts in both eyes that can be completely removed when they reach a certain size. Unfortunately, I also have macular degeneration (dry), which if not treated at a specific calculated timeframe, can cause blindness. Timing with proper and effective treatment will prevent blindness inMost cases. I've been seeing Dr. Katzman for about 4 years. Once a year has evoled into once a quarter. Katzman is very smart and seems to be at the top in his field. He runs an efficient office with technicians and support staff that know what they are doing and do it well. I'm picky and demanding, however I prefer to stick with this specialist. I like and respect him, his colleagues, and his entire staff. I'll stick with Katzman for the duration. He gets an A+ from me!
It was a good experience, super nice staff are very helpful.
Dr Katzman did surgeries on both my shoulders which was completely amazing. Even my post op follow up was very pleasant ,they office staff is amazing . I would recommend this practice
My wife has glaucoma and dr. Katzman has been treating her for the last 7 years. She was in a trial study from medication and after seven years her glaucoma has not progressed. Will be really sad when the doctor finally retires. Only one complaint is that they overbook and you can be guaranteed to wait over an hour. We were there in April of nineteen and it took 2 hours for them to finish with my wife
I have been to his office 4-5 times over the last 4 years. I find Dr. Katzman reasonably personable, professional, and well organized. There are quite a few doctors, techs, and non tech staff working there. He examined me thoroughly and detected cataracts in both eyes, plus macular degeneration that will make me blind at some unpredictable time in the future. Added a retina specialist. He and his staff can handle just about any vision related issue. I'm very particular. I like Dr. Katzman.
I have seen multiple opthamologists and he has been the first one to provide me any relief with my dry eye. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains things clearly. He uses humor and makes you feel comfortable. Support staff are also friendly and helpful.
Kiva, and the rest of the staff is exceptional they are always very helpful, thank you for your great service.
This is the worst office I have ever been to. I have waited 90 minutes after appt time to see Dr on both visits. There won't be a tird
set up appointment then take 2 hours plus to get in. worst ever in to much pain to sit around for hours

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
