This was my 1st visit to Dr. Karen Kohatsu. Right from the front desk checkin to Vicki setting me up into the exam room to meeting Dr. Kohatsu, I received a warm welcome by all and felt immediately comfortable with the exam ( I am not one that looks forward to a GYN visit). She quickly diagnosed my problem and we engaged in good humored, professional conversation. I can see Dr Kohatsu is very knowledgeable with 20 plus years in her practice. Even got a big hug from Vicki as I was leaving the office! Thank you all for making my initial visit a very pleasant experience!

I have been a patient of Dr. Karen Kohatso for the past 2 years. She is compassionate and highly skilled. She has improved my quality of life in immeasurable ways, helping me with weight loss and cosmetic procedures. Her staff is top tier and very responsive to patients. I love visiting the office in Poway and recommend this practice to all women that are looking to ratchet up their lives!

I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Kohatsu for laser treatments. My appointment was at 4pm. I was told to arrive at 3:45, which I did. I sat in the waiting room for 30 mins. Then, was taken to a room where the consultation was supposed to happen; waited another 30 mins. No one talked to me in the hour I was there, I was just waiting. I heard Dr. Kohatsu in the room next to me chatting with a patient. When I opened the door to see if there was anyone I could check with, Dr. Kohatsu was standing in the doorway of the room next to me continuing chatting with a patient about the things not related to an OBGYN visit (there was no rush). I walked back to the waiting area and told the front desk person that I waited for an hour and I would like to leave. She didn't even apologize, just issued my consultation refund and said, "Have a great day." On my way back, I received a call from the office to tell me that they were sorry that they were running behind. The person didn't even ask me if I want to reschedule, she just said that they were sorry for running behind. When I responded that running behind is ok, but what's not ok is to leave people waiting for an hour without any communication. She hung up on me. Just rude unprofessional people.

Dr. Kohatsu and Vicki are wonderful. My neck has been sagging for awhile. Could not afford a face lift. Vicki told me me about micro threading. This procedure was done in office and they accommodated my work schedule. Threads were inserted in neck and through the face and lifted and tied. It sounds painful but was really not. Results can be seen right away. I can not express how pleased I am. The neck sagging has had me in a funk for years. Dr Kohatsu does many youthful procedures and at reasonable prices. Dr. K put too much Jeuveau in my forehead or put it too low in the muscle. The right side of my forehead was really bruised and my eyebrow is drooping down. The lines between my eyes I can still see weeks after injection. The first time I felt like I had less and there was more time taken and it looked so much better. The last 2 I have not been happy with the results and it was rushed.

Was referred by my primary to Dr. Karen Kohatsu. Filled out all my necessary first time appointment paperwork work online prior to my appointment. This was very convenient. I waited maybe 5min before I was seen, major plus. Office looked very clean and maintained. The front desk ladies are very professional, kind and helpful, another plus. Dr. Karen Kohatsu Was amazing. She really took her time with me to answer all my questions and concerns. I felt she was very patient and knowledgeable. I felt she genuinely cared about my health and well being. One of the best OBGYs I have had. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Karen Kohatsu.

Poway Women’s Care is amazing! From the front office staff which is very pleasant and welcoming, to the Back office staff, everybody was exceptional. Vicki the MA was awesome and made me feel very comfortable and cared for. Dr. Kohatsu Was kind, empathetic, efficient, listened to my concerns and took great care of me. I have nothing but fabulous things to say about this clinic and all the staff.
