Came in last year with lower back pain I had struggled with for years and thought I would never be free. After ~6 sessions and some sage advice about posture, Dr Ciara literally cured me. Now I have a standing appt every 2 weeks, which lets her fix any weird issues that have cropped up (slept weird/hurt ankle/stress/etc). GO SEE HER

Excellent experience at Calm acupuncture. Michelle is experienced at what she does. It was a session of healing. I feel so much better since I started going there. My neck, knees, and toe don't hurt like they used to. 5 stars!

Michelle and Angela are so knowledgeable, empathetic, and holistic. Twice monthly acupuncture treatments have truly helped decrease my pain levels, migraines, and stress. I’d never tried acupuncture or cupping before coming to Calm, but it’s become a wonderful and core part of my self care and wellness plan.

I had a migraine and neck pain for 4 days. The pain got progressively worse despite using headache medicine, ice packs, and essential oils. On the fifth morning after not sleeping all night due to the pain, I looked for somewhere to get acupuncture same day. I came across Calm San Diego on Yelp and made an appointment. I immediately noticed how clean and serene the office was. The person I had originally been scheduled to see had an emergency, so I ended up seeing Ciara. She was a kind and compassionate listener. She gathered some information, then treated me with acupuncture and cupping. It was a very relaxing appointment, but I wasn't sure it had treated issue. A couple hours later I noticed a HUGE difference in how I was feeling. I can still feel some tightness in my neck but the headache is gone. My energy is up and now I'm ready to go back tomorrow haha I can't recommend this place enough!

I had some aggravating neck pain and I decided to give Acupuncture a try. I had a referral to Calm San Diego and Dr. Ciara Wiegand was amazing! Very professional, knowledgeable and successful in addressing my issues. My pain decreased after the first treatment and now I’m making Acupuncture part of my regular health routine. I have also noticed better sleep and stress management. A bonus was that my health insurance covered part of the cost! If you have pain of any kind, I highly recommend!

I am extremely grateful to have encountered Calm and met Jenna Sanborn! I was diagnosed with eczema on September 2021 by a traditional medicine doctor and was totally frustrated with the treatment options. After being on steroid creams for a couple of months and having no success, the doctor had prescribed me with an injection that I would have to be on for the rest of my life. I did not wanted to follow this treatment so I started looking for alternatives and it was when I found Jenna! After about 4 months of doing acupuncture, taking Chinese medicine herbs, and using herbal lotions, my eczema was 95% gone! My first consultation with Jenna was amazing. I had never had a doctor ask me so many things about my life - which makes sense as everything is connected in our bodies. Jenna is extremely caring and attentive and I have no words to thank her enough. I was constantly itching and had so many areas of my life affected because of the eczema. After starting my treatment with Jenna my life changed. As I said, I am extremely grateful to have crossed paths with Calm and Jenna. Definitely recommend!

I sought out Calm for hormone imbalance & perimenopause symptom management. Jenna has helped me so much. She takes time to listen and take notes.
