Had a PET scan at 4S Ranch location. I'm glad I knew what to expect because nothing was explained to Me. One gal was injecting the radiation and putting people into the Scan. No One was in the Scan room and no panic button in case you needed help of any kind. Was never asked how I was doing during the scan and while I had to lay in a Recliner for an hour, while the radiation went through My body, She didn't close the door. It was very distracting when you're supposed to relax and not move. She wasn't attentive and appeared to not be having a good day. Yet, remarked She only had 5 people for the day coming in for the scan. When, you are working with people who are facing Cancer or otherwise, some sensitivity would have been nice. Just because I'd had One scan before, doesn't mean I feel comfortable and don't have anxiety or panic attacks. I was never asked! I do and it would have been nice to have her check in during the scan. MRI's there is always Someone in the room monitoring you. How hard would it have been to check on Me? Hopefully, next year I'll have a better experience 🙏 Therefore 3 Star's.

With the exception of the tech not being able to get a vein after 3 tries (another person stepped in and she got it right away) the overall experience was pleasant, professional and calm. Would recommend for scans and/or treatments and infusions.

I was seen immediately at my appointment time for my pet scan. The IV insertion was flawless when the correct tech took over my care. The PET scan then was accomplished with no complications.
