I came to see Dr Deter off a recommendation from two friends. I've had steroid injections, physical therapy, xrays, MRI's and lots of pain meds nothing has worked so far. I started out taking medication for pain about 4-5 days a week and a muscle relaxer when needed. I had to completely stop working out. It took about 6 months but Im back riding my peloton and doing pilates 4-5 days a week and I only take my pain meds a few times a month as needed. I came to DR.DETERS office after several attempts by other chiropractors to treat a pinched nerve in my neck.The other chiropractors were not successful in alleviating the pain entirely. I liked Dr. Raymond Deters (Dee-ters) the minute we locked eyes. This is my first time seeking chiropractic relief. Literally, I could not stand or sit for long due to bad habits accumulating in my lower back saying "no, no", not an injury. I had been mostly lying down on my couch for four days. I am 58, employed full time and generally healthy. I got to Doc Deters office on the 5th day (laying down in the back of an Uber). After the 1st treatment, which includes some scans and individual analysis, I was markedly better. I could actually sit up normally in the Uber ride home. The next day, I was able to drive myself to the 2nd treatment (this was, compared to the previous week, a HUGE change). In the subsequent 10 treatments I've done over the past few weeks, my back keeps getting better. And, I'm going to start decreasing my weekly visits. I've learned that Chiropractic is comprehensive medical pov for health. The doctors are trained as much, and in some cases more, than allopathic doctors (sans, pharma related chemistry, biology et al.). Doc Deters is comprehensive and at an affordable price point. I recommend him highly! He's also a very nice, postive individual to boot!
