List of Douglas A. Dobecki's Reviews
Rude and ill mannered front office staff. The employee kept telling me I have to come back in 10 days. I told her I would not be because I was out of town. She kept badgering and taunting me telling me I had to come back after telling her I was not coming back in 10 day. Finally I said to her are you a doctor? Then on my way out the door she flipped me off as I was leaving. Off course the office staff did nothing to this appointment clerk and the office manager took her side. The doctor is such a wimp he won't even return my call after being a patient for a year. He just sends a letter out saying he won't see you anymore. After I already left his practice. My new doctor has me coming in once every 3 months. Instead of Dr Dobecki every monthly check ins. The office staff lies and says it's law that you have to come in every month. That's up to Dr Dobecki. He had discretion to to go every three months. You come to your conclusions why he has patients coming in once a month. That's his office policy. Not a state or federal law like they tell you.
Dr. Dobecki is hands down the best Pain Management doctor I have been to. I’ve been seeing him for 3+ years and he is kind, knowledgeable, doesn’t overprescribe/medicate, but also does treat your pain appropriately. My quality of life would be in the dumpster if I didn’t have Dr. D, Victoria, and his support staff. From day one I have been so impressed and so grateful for how responsive his staff is, as that has been a consistent issue with other pain management offices - they all had horrible and unprofessional staff with zero follow up and you could never get ahold of anyone. I rarely take the time to review, but this office is the by far the best and I am so incredibly grateful!
Staff very pleasant and helpful- Dr Dobecki discussed the procedure and answered all my questions - will be going back😀
One of the finest doctors I had the pleasure working with since a long time. Very good bedside manners. He took 30 min to explain the procedure and answer with patience all my many questions. He walked me through the entire procedure while I was face down and couldn't see what was happening. He was using state of the art equipment and the best products. I had done my research and he did do all the things my research showed should be done in order to have the safest outcome. I was a little worried about the negative reviews. But I can only highly recommend him. It was refreshing how friendly he was, how knowledgeable and the time he took for my appointment. I was blown away.
Easy to talk to & easy to work with. Listens to me
I agree with Kitty's review. The staff never answers their phone and does not follow up with phone calls. I did get to see Dr. Dobecki after screaming at the receptionist that I had called 3 times and was not getting anywhere. (Hence the 2 stars instead of 1) He is very personable and seemed caring. Now I have to deal with Nancy not calling me back to schedule the procedure he recommended. I wonder if the doctor knows what poor service his staff gives. I'll tell him if I ever get to see him again.
Dr.Dobecki is a fantastic doctor. Not only does he take the time to listen to his patients and truly work with them to alleviate their pain management issues, he also sympathizes with each and every patient in a way most doctors failed to do. His attention and care is how doctors were meant to help their patients. I would give him the highest recommendations.
I have been going to Dr. Dobecki quite awhile now. He and his team Nancy, Victoria and Alex are some of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever had treat me for anything. I can't believe how organized they are and well just special. I love them!!!
Gave me 90% assurance to reduce my back pain. After thousands of dollars there was no relief. Actually made my pain worse. Dobecki lied to me and took my money.
LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A PAIN SPECIALIST, THIS IS NOT YOUR GUY! I went to see Dr. Dobecki's office because I have been dealing with a back injury and back pain for many of years. In going to his office, I was told to start with a steroid shot, likely that would help with the pain for a few months. Shortly after I went to Sharp to have the injection done, and nothing. The pain was still there, and my back felt no relief. After another month had passed and the pain did not subside, it was suggested to me that I go in for a two-step process. First step, to have a numbing shot done that mimicked what an ablation of the nerves would ultimately do and make sure that procedure was the correct one for me. Shortly after I was back at the Hospital again to have the numbing shot done, I still have not seen Dr. Dobecki face-to-face, each time he walks in after I have already been on my stomach laying down and medicated. Because of him not coming in to speak with me before or after the procedure, he did not explain to me any side effects or things to watch out for after having a needle inserted into my spinal area. Well, two days later we found out the hard way. While looking at homes with my Fiancé and his mother, I suddenly hit the ground with the worst headache I have ever experienced in my life; the pain was so intense that it was also making me vomit. Back to Hospital we went, without knowledge from Dr. Dobecki that this something that could happen after having any type of epidural, we all feared that it was a brain aneurism, nothing else could possibly hurt that bad. After being checked in at the ER and having a CAT scan done, they admitted me to the Hospital. Three days of being there, plus an MRI, MRA and MRB all being performed on me to figure out what was going on, they FINALLY figured out it was due to a lumbar puncture hole left by Dr. Dobecki. When a lumbar puncture is left in the spinal area your spinal fluid leaks out, once enough spinal fluid has left from around your brain it creates the exact side effects that I was experiencing. Why would a DOCTOR not tell you nor send paperwork home with you stating anything about this as a possible side effect? I have now received a $5,000 bill from the Hospital that could have been completely avoided as well as another bill from Dr. Dobecki’s office for an additional $450 for a shot that I had already paid for at the Hospital. Furthermore, I called the office to see if and what they were willing to do to help with this crazy set of circumstances and the answer was, nothing. I am now in debt $5,450 from his office, my back does not feel ANY better and there is nothing I can do about it because I will need to pay off this bill before I can afford to see someone else to help. Save yourself, save your money and see someone else!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
