I found Essential Wellness on my health insurance portal list and verified them on Yelp. With all the great reviews I decided to give her a try and I am so glad I did. The moment you walk in you feel calm and relaxed. Nothing like other acupuncture offices that smell with weird incense smells. You immediately get the feeling of tranquility and serenity. Your first session she asks thorough questions about you, your past, your health and your health goals. She really listens to you and makes you feel cared for. I've never felt rushed during any of my sessions and I walk in and out feeling relaxed. Feeling relaxed before your session? YES! That's how great this place is. Knowing you're going to be taken care of is such a calming feeling. She really cares about her patients and wants to help you heal. Highly recommend her!

Love her!!! She helped to save my life after a severe vaccine injury… she knows so much!! Helps you really help yourself!!! She provides the right diet, acupuncture and supplements to fix your problems… love this place !! Also, very reasonably priced … she should charge more! She saves lives!!!

Essential Wellness Center in San Diego, Ca is like no other. Marianne has the golden touch for healing. My husband and I both couldnt be more pleased with the acupuncture treatments and accompanying massages. The center is 3 hours from our home and is well worth the effort.

I have been with Marianna for several years and she is incredible. She has so much education about the body beyond her skills with acupuncture. She has been able to help me with pain where my primary doctor or physical therapy has not. She needles, uses moxa, heat treatment and massages all in one hour. She manages my referral to make sure that I am covered. I am so grateful for her. If you are reading this because you are considering using her skills, stop reading and make an appointment. Marianna is an amazing acupuncturist. When you walk in, she makes you feel right at ease. She makes sure to take a good medical history, and understand what your goals are. I really like that. Marianna is also upfront about expectations about what can and can't be accomplished. I have been seeing her for the better part of a year, and her intuition is alwys spot on. One of the things I really appreciate is that I can be on the table, and just by looking at me, she can tell me what is out of balance or where my pain is festering. I think this also speaks to years of training and experience. Marianna has also assisted me in determine which herbal supplements and teas would suit me best in my recovery. If they are hard to find, she will source them for me and have them at my next treatment. One day, I was in the treatment room, I overheard her rescheduling some of her "non-work" plans, because there was a long time patient that was in rough shape and really needed to get in. Not many doctors would do that. And I'm not saying she does it every day for every patient, what I am saying is Marianna cares about her patients and their health, she's in this work for all the right reasons. Marianna has an amazing, healing, calming soul. I can not recommend this practice high enough.
