List of Feldman Sandy's Reviews
It's probably been 25 years ago when I first started to investigate eye surgery and surgeons in the San Diego area. I chose Dr. Sandra T. Feldman because I trusted her. Price was secondary to me. Thinking back on my decision about my choice of surgeons......I tell my wife that...... Choosing Dr. Feldman for my eye surgery... was the second best decision I made in my life. Jamison Williams San Diego, CA.
Once Dr. Feldman takes your money she does not want to see you at all. The optometrists and the technicians does all the work for her. Even if you book an appointment to see her when you walk in there they will tell you she is not in the building
Dr. Feldman was amazing when I had my surgery. When my husband had his done, there were some complications and she saw him everyday until the problem was solved. She even opened the office on a Sunday, on a HOLIDAY WEEKEND in order to make sure he had a great outcome from his LASIK. I don't understand the people saying that she doesn't have a bedside manner nor spends time with them. I would recommend her to anyone that is considering LASIK!
Dr. Feldman sat down with me and personally reviewed all the research I had performed, She gave me no-holds advice about my eyes and the advantages of Lasik Surgery. She performed the surgery and my life radically changed for the better. Even though I no longer live in San Diego, her office remains as my primary care eye physician. Over the years Dr. Feldman has continued to add highly professional and dedicated professionals to he team. I've referred my daughter to Dr. Feldman for her eyes as well.
I'm only sorry you can give 5 stars. This is a highly professionally run office. The 5 stars I gave every category are truly reflective of my experiences with this office.
Everything bad they say about Dr. Feldman is true. Rarely sees patients. Hands off to optometrists who work for her. Staff doesn't explain cost of operations and options. Always in a rush, never has more than a few minutes. Seems to run an eye repair "factory". No bedside manner. Had to redo a bad surgery.
I have had my PRK surgery 7 years ago. Perfect outcome and so far no need for glasses. Dr Sandy was thorough and careful since I had a special condition. This was a life changing experience and I highly recommend her.
To Prospective Patients of Dr. Sandra T. Feldman, Clear View Eye and Laser Medical Center In a word, the results I received more than one year post surgery are Cloudy not Clear; the prognosis and medical opinion offered by Dr. Feldman to explain these results are equally Cloudy Let me be clear, this is not a hatchet job but my attempt to explain what has happened over the past 16 months. I decided to get my eyes redone because my distance vision was making me nervous at night and my reading glasses had gone up another notch. Dr. Flowers had done LASIK mono vision surgery on my reading eye 10 years ago this was a painless procedure and I was very happy with the results which lasted satisfactorily for about 7 years. When I decided to get my eyes re-done, I checked YELP and several other review sites and selected Dr. Feldmans clinic for my initial consultation. I have since learned about filtered reviews since 50% of the filtered reviews are negative, this would have dropped Clear View from #2 to somewhere closer to the middle of the pack. Since my experience with Dr. Feldman and Clear View was exactly the same as many of the negative reviews, I urge you as prospective patients to pay close attention. After my last visit, I was given a prescription for glasses and yet another prescription for Restatis my distance vision in my left eye is good but my reading eye is cloudy and barely correctable with reading glasses. Reading used to be one of my greatest joys now it is a struggle thanks to the results of my PRK. Why did this happen? According to Dr. Feldman it is (and I quote) 1) I noticed you have a nice tan, have you been out in the sun too much, 2) I am feeling a lot of negative energy here, 3) let me prescribe this for you (not telling me she was prescribing an anti-biotic 13 months post-op), 4) we can do an enhancement but I cant tell you things will get better. "There are no guarantees" I am not alone in this regard, during my last visit to her clinic, I sat next to another lady waiting on a touch up consultation. She has been through three touch ups so far her results are the same as mine dry eyes, clouded and blurry vision. Talking with a kindred spirit helped me decide to forego another painful PRK procedure. Why go through that kind of pain again to end up worse off than when I went in? So that part is all about me terrible results and terrible post op care from Dr. Feldman I saw Dr Feldman exactly 3 times. And my last appointment is because I insisted! Why is this the case? Most likely for many of the reasons noted in the reviews too many patients, too much waiting, little or no interaction with Dr. Feldman, too much turn over in the professional staff (all but one Dr. has left in the 16 months I have been going in). It was the worst experience I've ever had~ my eyes will never be the same!! They hurt all the time!!! Dig deep to really find out about this money making eye zoo!!!!
Dr. Sandy Feldman and her staff are amazing. I had to have PRK done and they made me feel extremely comfortable. I did not have to wait long and they really care about their patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Sandy Feldman to everyone. One of my friends has already had LASIK done by Dr. Feldman and she was amazed with her results.
Had to wait with dialated eyes from 12:45 to 2:40. Excuse was "miscommunication".

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
