Dr. Jim has truly made such a difference in my life. After 30 years of chronic illness and mounting diagnoses, I was feeling frustrated and defeated. I consulted with Dr. Jim who was always thorough, kind and thoughtful in his approach. It’s been a year now and not only am I feeling better than I ever have, I was just told by my doctor that a “non-reversible condition” has completely vanished. She had “no explanation” for this, but I attribute it whole heartedly to Dr. Jim’s help and expertise. Thank you, Dr. Jim!

Jim was able to provide my wife and I valuable insight about steps we can do to increase our chances of having another baby. He was also instrumental in helping my sister conceive about 15 years ago after her doctors said she could not have a baby. Needless to say, my wife has 2 children that are in their teens now. Nothing but good things to say about his practice and his ability to explain medical jargon in ways we could understand and implement. If there is one person that you can trust to help you with your health it is Dr. Jim. I have been a patient of Jim's for years. He has analyzed my bloodwork multiple times and his depth of understanding of what is going on in my body, along with how he takes the time to explain to you, is invaluable. What I think is amazing is how modern medicine wants to cover up your ailments while someone like Jim wants to get to the root cause. Jim has always been there for me. He really cares about the whole person and wanting to help each person's individual needs (and family needs). One great example of this was my 7 year old son deciding to do a header with a sidewalk. When I mentioned this to him he was quick to give a recommendation on some medicine that would help my sons internal healing. He explained that head trauma heals quickly from the outside but the internal damage needs to be treated as well (The ER doctors never mentioned anything about that!!!). So grateful to have found Dr. Jim Chialtas after struggling with health issues my primary care doctor was unable and unwilling to help find out what was going on with my body. I researched several alternative medicine doctors and programs, interviewed my top two and chose to work with Dr. Jim Chialtas because he had a curious and scientific approach to finding out what was causing my problems & was upfront about pricing, labs & how he serves his clients. Other alternative medicine doctors have their own developed programs and put their patients on their developed program, whereas Dr. Chialtas ran different blood work tests, food allergy tests and helped me discover that I was celiac. All the bloodwork he ran indicated I had high inflammation markers and some other issues, which led to him ordering specific food allergy testing that then confirmed gut & gluten-specific issues. He walked me through what I needed to do to begin healing, gave me a plan of action, explained what gluten did to my body and what getting rid of gluten would do to begin the healing. It's been just 4 months and my inflammation is decreased drastically, I'm down 18 pounds, my mind is clearer, my attitude is brighter, and I'm feeling better as I'm on this road to healing. Dr. Chialtas communicates well via email and phone calls, is helpful in explaining the science behind physical & mental problems, he has a curious nature, creates plans of action and follow ups, is caring & kind and I'm grateful for the way he served me as a patient in discovering what was the root cause of a lot of my physical & mental problems.

I was lucky to find Jim on my visit to San Diego. My English is not perfect but he always had the patience to listen to my health concerns and also share his knowledge. He has a warmth and he genuinely cares about helping the patient through acupuncture. Also, my grandmother's feet got too swollen, and I told her to go to Jim. The next 2 days the swollen was gone and she was feeling much better. A really good experience.
