Gary A Cohen's Online Review Report Card

Don't go here. A specialist and their team should help patients get better, not treat them poorly when they're ill or simply trying to book follow-up visits. Unfortunately, my confusing experience was exactly the same as others have mentioned below with the rude, overbearing office manager (May? Maggie?) who treats patients as if she's at war with them when they're seeking help. The receptionist seems really nice but then you realize she's causing problems by offering things then changing her mind (making a suggestion then backpedaling, saying things like "I'm JUST the receptionist" or '"oh no, the doctor can only call from a blocked line that probably won't go thru to you and he also won't do video calls or use a computer"). I found their office practices to be confusing, antiquated, and a general policy of "we do what we want and we won't tell you upfront." While I was very ill and had to cancel twice, I was offered a magical phone appt with the doctor by the receptionist, then it was taken away, then the office manager berated me for trying to keep the quickie appt offered by the receptionist - so it was finally set at 2pm that day to review test results. Presuming was a quick, paid appt but now feels like he saw it as more of a favor or the exact time was not passed along by office staff, because he instead called me at a random time and left a voicemail which ensured that I wouldn't get the chance to ask any questions. I still don't have answers for my hives or lung issues, and certainly wasn't offered help to prevent asthma (as their name states), but at least have more useless test results now. I sadly cannot recommend this team.

Dr. Cohen and his staff are always so incredibly friendly and welcoming.  However, my absolute favorite thing is that, Dr. Cohen truly cares about the health AND wellness of his patients.  Over the pandemic, he always made it a point to check in on my overall and mental health.  His care goes above and beyond addressing my allergies.  I appreciate him and his team so much!

Dr. Cohen and his staff are very caring and knowledgeable. I was referred to him by my PCP and he really takes time to get to know you and ask the right questions, so that he can come up with a proper care plan.

Dr. Cohen is an incredible doctor with so much compassion. He truley goes over and beyond to help. I'm very thankful to be in his care. He is the best Allergiest I've ever been with, very knowledgeable. All of his staff is very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend seeing him.

Expert care.

Don't go here. Waste of time and money. Find another allergist who really cares about his patients. Gary Cohen did not help me with my allergy. Did not explain what tests he is going to do and why. Did not hand over the results of the tests. Declined to do my blood testing when I asked to do deeper examination. I'm disappointed. And be prepared that no one pharmacist can read what he wrote.

Dr. Cohen, and his staff all are wonderful, caring individuals. The energy and environment of the offices are positive, happy, pleasant and clean. The attention given is excellent, complete and respectful.You are able to ask questions, they're answered and may potentially become a conversation- so, the communication line is open. Dr. Cohen, is a friendly, knowledgeable person and an Excellent diagnosistican, who wants his patients to be comfortable and informed. I recommend him and his team, and wish you good health. I've been a patient for 10+ years.

Allergy & Asthma & Immunology Gary Cohen MD Specialist Had A Great First Visit Here At The Office Of Gary Cohen MD. Very Kind And Professional Manner. Knowledge Is Surperb. Very Thorough Exam And Allergy Testing. The Office Staff Is Wonderful Also. Im A Retired Nurse So I Can Tell You With Confidence This Medical Office And Dr Cohen Are Well Above The Rest. Very Personable And Medically Appropriate
