Gary Cohen's Online Review Report Card

Don't go here. Waste of time and money. Find another allergist who really cares about his patients. Gary Cohen did not help me with my allergy. Did not explain what tests he is going to do and why. Did not hand over the results of the tests. Declined to do my blood testing when I asked to do deeper examination. I'm disappointed. And be prepared that no one pharmacist can read what he wrote.

Dr. Cohen, and his staff all are wonderful, caring individuals. The energy and environment of the offices are positive, happy, pleasant and clean.The attention given is excellent, complete and respectful.You are able to ask questions, they're answered and may potentially become a conversation- so, the communication line is open.Dr. Cohen, is a friendly, knowledgeable person and an Excellent diagnosistican, who wants his patients to be comfortable and informed. I recommend him and his team, and wish you good health. I've been a patient for 10+ years.

I've been a patient of Dr. Cohen for about 2 or 3 years and I've received nothing but great care. I originally was a patient at the Coronado location but since the hours of operation there are limited I moved my care up to the location off of Pacific Heights.Dr. Cohen is very professional and his staff is amazing. All of the women that are so incredibly nice, they remember me every time I walk in and greet me with such warmth. There have been periods of time that I haven't been insured and when I've had to pay out of pocket for appointments or allergy shots the pricing has been VERY reasonable. Dr Cohen was so nice during those times and gave me a bunch allergy medicine samples to for free.I've gotten allergy tested, asthma treatment, and allergy immunization shots. They give results back quickly and making appointments is pretty easy. The slots for appointments get filled pretty quick, he's a great doctor so expect at least two weeks for the next available date.I highly recommend Dr Cohen. He's professional, knowledgable, caring, thoughtful, attentive, and thoroughly focuses to fix your ailments.

I’ve been seeing Dr Cohen for almost 30 years starting in the Coronado Office, moving to the Mira Mesa Office and then to the Encinitas office. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, accommodating and kind. My husband and daughters see him as well. He always has a wonderful office staff. I can’t think of going to anyone else!

Dr Cohen takes his time and thoroughly works with each patient. He also conducts extensive and thorough allergy testing as needed. His staff is very kind and sensitive, and always seem happy to see each patient. The offices are neat and clean.

I had an appointment with Dr Cohen for over a month. The last week I was unable to take allergy medication because of the allergy testing I was suppose to be doing at the appointment ( I’ve been missrable for a week because of it) 2 hrs before my appointment I got canceled on due to the dr being sick and was rescheduled the following month. I called back and asked if I could at least do the allergy testing since I’ve been missrable for a week not taking meds. The lady on the phone refused my request and was extremely rude to me even raising her voice at me when I told her how unprofessional it was.Now I am even sicker then I was before I made the appointment with the dr ( due to their request for me to stop my medication) and I don’t have another appointment for almost another month.The office staff at Dr Cohens are extremely uncaring and rude. It’s is truly one of the most unprofessional Dr offices I have come in contact with.

I love Dr. Cohen! I was basically at 0% breathing on one of of my nose. I have severe allergies. I saw Dr. Cohen for a 11/2 years. He did allergy testing and breathing testing. He put me on a regimen. I would see him throughout the year & was making progress each time. Now, I'm at 98%! Dr. Cohen is very knowledgeable, caring & kind. I'm so happy I found someone to help me figure all this allergy nonsense out.
