This place took my belongings held me against my will. I couldn't walk due to an ankle injury and they refused to even look at. I had to stay the entire night, I couldn't call anyone. My family didn't know where I was because they had taken all my stuff in my pockets. They and ignored me until the next day and had me fill out some paperwork, then they finally wheeled me outside. And of course a few days later I got the $20,000+ bill for my involuntary stay.
Sent to the Er to check for a blood cot . My cardiologist called it in ..after 21/2 sitting in the waiting room 21/2 hours I am told the doctor orders doesn’t matter .. That a er doctor would have to call the order for a blood clot.. needless to say sitting here still 5 hours later still no test and have seen none . Not even a blood test.
This is my second time visiting this UC Health Hospital. I received excellent customer service from these doctors and their nurses on my previous visits, I thought I would give this UC Health Hospital another try. Today I needed to attend this UC Health Hospital in the morning due to a serious medical condition that I am currently dealing with at the present moment. I decided to see if I would receive the same treatment or even better treatment today. Today was a good day for me in the hospital emergency department because the time I called at 9 AM and there wasn't very much traffic on the freeway this morning. It had only taken the nurses out 20 Minutes later before I was notified there was an available bed in the Emergency Department today. Then I was assigned a bed in their Emergency Department today. I was treated with respect and kindness from the paramedics who picked me up at my house today. Zeke and Erick did a great job of taking care of me by checking my vital signs. Also Eric and Zeke measured my oxygen level when I was laying down on the couch this morning. Zeke and Eric did a great job of transporting me from their Ambulance to this UC Health Hospital in caring about my welfare. Also my Emergency Room doctor today was Dr. Harmon who's been a resident at this hospital she has worked as a resident physician for 8 years now. Wow that's a long time! Dr. Harmon was very kind, respectful and understanding to my health condition issues. My RN today his name is Scott . Scott was very helpful and friendly in greeting me as his new patient inside my room today. The quality of care I received from the Emergency Room Doctors and Nurses were exceptional. Even Alma this security guard she was very concerned when she saw me falling asleep at this Cafe table since I haven't had much sleep for the past 5 days now. Alma stopped by and she gave me some cold towels to apply on my face in making me feel cooler since it's been very humid weather conditions every day. I was happy to be discharged later today . My medical condition was resolved by being prescribed a needed medication for my health condition and to get more physical therapy at sn outpatient clinic which will be twice a week. I also ate my early dinner at the Cafe . I bought a really moist Blueberry Muffin, it was delicious! A Garden Salad and a single banana with one can of the Crisp Apple Soda Pop that has a unique flavor. My total cost for these items We're $16.69.
In 2016 I came presenting with high heart rate among other concerning symptoms and was promptly placed in the behavioral health unit instead of being treated for my condition. I repeatedly questioned why I was placed there and brought up my symptoms which prompted unnecessary and traumatizing "treatments" such as being placed in a solitary room and being injected with antipsychotic drugs which exacerbated my condition (which i know now included neurological problems such as absent seizures). the treatment of patients is brutal and inhumane, the nurses in the behavioral health unit also repeatedly made fun of me to my face, in front of other patients, and within earshot. horrible place. do not bring your loved ones here.
Excellent
The Trauma dep at the UCSD #406 went above and beyond to provide us with the best accommodations for my husband I thank everyone that took care of my husband best experience ever! ...
Terrible Front Desk Experience -- Unprofessional and Rude The attitudes I've experienced from the front desk staff at this place are honestly awful. Every single person I've interacted with at the front desk has been rude, unhelpful, and made me feel like I was a burden instead of a patient. At least the doctor who did my ultrasound was kind and professional, but the rest of the front desk staff? Absolutely disgusting.
BEST STAFF. They have helped me tremendously myself but SAVED MY DAUGHTERS LIFE YESTERDAY. God bless Dr. Grover, Dr. Baniqued and everyone else on staff yesterday evening. I cannot thank you enough. ER gets busy but because they are excellent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
