James Chao's Online Review Report Card

I had the worst possible experience. I wenr in for eye lid surgery and Dr Chao boched my eyes. I have been unable to shut them and had to tape them shut at night to keep them from drying out. I had surgery one year later by an Occuloplastic Surgeon who had to graft tissue to my eyes. They still don't shut. Don't use him.

I had a botched lipo surgery and searched for a provider that could help. Prime Plastics Surgery did not disappoint! Dr. Chao always took the time to explain how everything would go…no matter how many times I asked. He made me feel safe and his staff have gone above and beyond to provide an atmosphere of comfort during the stresses of surgery. I walked in scared and defeated due to the previous surgery, however, I am now very much pleased with the outcome. Thank you Prime Plastic Surgery!!

After my pregnancy I’ve been wanting to get my body back in shape to pre Pregnancy weight, I was amazed with how patient and knowledgeable Aaron is about the services and on top of that he’s the sweetest !I definitely recommend this this place !!!

Aaron was sooo helpful and makes scheduling so fun and simple! I’ve been coming here for a while and my favorite nurses Samantha and Kristine are so patient and kind! Very lovely place and taking my mom as a birthday gift.to her<3

I never got to meet the physician. After my insurance gave me authorization I called and the person doing the scheduling first asked me about my insurance and then wouldn't take the rest of my information insisting that they don't take my insurance even though I tried to tell her I had the referral letter in hand. They called the very next day to schedule but by then I had already requested a new referral. Today, coming out from my ultrasound they called and the scheduler proceeded to scold me that she had called me three times already, she talked over me when I raised my concern about her lack of professionalism. I just hung up. If the staff is that rude I don't want to see the surgeon. I made my appointment with another surgeon later that day and a significant improvement in customer service.

I had the pleasure of having my breast augmentation by dr.pousti I had to go back 2 years later for another consult I had the pleasure of meeting. The dr that took over for dr. Pousti let me just say I will never go anywhere else for anything they made me feel confident and we discussed exactly wheat needed to be done as I was leaving I met with their estician im sure she much more then that but one look at her and I wanted her services lol walked in for 1 thing and left excited for what more I could do lol they have all areas covered. I’m super impressed with the caring professionalism from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I can’t wait to go back and get started.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Deformed and asymmetrical implant surgery. Dr. Pousti and the staff are more concern about patients leaving a "good review" than doing a caring job. After he denied several times the implant was just all wrong, he accepted guilt and offered to fix the BAD implants but at the patients cost, really? Don't fall for the marketing trick and READ the paperwork before you accept any surgery. The service is so BAD that the day of the surgery he arrived late and didn't look good or ready for such an important day in a patients life. Your body is your temple, so be careful and best of all, do your research, there are better options elsewhere like in Eastlake. Save money and STAY AWAY from Dr. Pousti.

Do not go this this man! Within 12 hours of surgery, I was in excruciating pain. He had no one on call and was unable to be reached. I went to the ER and when they finally reached him, he refused to come see me. Further, he directed the ER staff NOT to remove the dressings. I ended up with serious complications of a vascular compromise requiring hospitalization. I ultimately had to have my finger amputated and have lost grasp function in my hand. I am scheduled for a fourth surgery to attempt to improve damage he caused. I live in constant pain. It has been 5 years and everyday I regret my decision of choosing Dr. Chao. Stay far away from this guy!

BOTCHED- unfortunately I’ll have to seek out the insurance policy from the brand of implants put in which will only cover up to 3k. Too much handling at the time of placement lead to deformities that got worse over time. (Implants were placed in 2015) I went in for another check up (2018) deformities were noticeable , response I recieved from him was that there’s no telling unless he were to operate again and try to fix. NO THANKS !!!

Always a pleasant experience. They always treat me like a very valued customer.; everyone is courteous and professional. I cannot wait for my big day!
