I do not have enough words the express how blessed I feel to be in the hands of fantastic and professional Dr. Chao. I fly into San Diego to specifically see him because, I know the great job he does and has done in the past. Also, Tracey is very good at communicating and keeping me informed of details before a procedure.

I had a tough journey with breast cancer. I had a mastectomy and when I was ready for my reconstruction I came across other doctors that wanted me to take the easy way out and go through a total breast reduction from a full cup C to an A because my chest was damaged due to radiation. They wanted me to come out of pocket thousands of dollars because they wouldn't put this thru my insurance, but this was due to breast cancer 😔 I left so depressed but still did not give up, I was on a quest to find a caring doctor and that nothing would be an obstacle. I found doctor Chao. He made everything happen! Never did he say he couldn't handle my case. Always positive! Tracy is amazing, always so very helpful, caring attentive. I am so very grateful. 😊 Looking forward to my next procedure. I am in good hands 👌👏

Dr Chao was wonderful. I felt very informed and aware of what was going on as we moved through the appointment with my 2 year old son. It can be so hard to have the appointments because my son doesn't understand and he was so sad. but today went great. I am so grateful for this wonderful team!

This is my second surgery with Dr Chao and once again it exceeded all expectations. The professionalism and attention to detail with exactly what I wanted was delivered. I am so incredibly happy with every step of the process from consultation to surgery to follow up care gave me confidence knowing I am with the right Doctor. i highly recommend Dr James Chao. My results have been life changing!

I could not be happier with Dr James Chao and his nurse Tracey! They are truly the best! After a very stressful year of breast cancer...mastectomy ....and reconstruction Dr. Chao did a fabulous job of reconstruction for me. Perfection! He is always positive and reassuring. Tracey was there for me no matter what worry I may have and took care of everything so efficiently and compassionately. I would refer them to everyone!
