Jennifer J Pendleton's Online Review Report Card

I want to give Dr Pendleton 5 STARS hand down. She made me heal heard. She explained things thoroughly. She was willing to go the extra mile to help me in this medical journey I have been on. HOWEVER!!!!! Their customer service/front office never answers their phones and majority of the time you don’t get a phone call back for at least a week +. It took over a month to call about my lab results and the next steps but also understandable I was able to look them up and there was no alarming reason to call me right away.

My doctor referred me to Dr. Pendleton for allergy shots, and I have left messages on three occasions. No one ever calls back. Not sure I want to have doctor that you can't reach. Too bad, because I really need to get back on shots. My former doctor is no longer available. Disappointed in medical care in San Diego. Coming from San Francisco, it's quite shocking.

WORST Customer service at a doctor's office EVER!!! So disorganized as to be incomprehensible. I moved 30 miles away, so have to change allergists to get my shots. I knew I would be in this area today, so called 2 days ago to tell them I would be here, needed to get my vials, name of new Dr., address, phone, fax, etc. They said I would need to sign a form once I was here to release everything. So, I scheduled a flyby for here. 15 minutes, tops. So, I get here. wait. am given a form to complete. Oops. Given the wrong form. Now must complete new form. Told to wait 10 minutes to get everything together. Fine. Then the shot lady comes out to tell me she has to get a dosage from her doctor on what my next shot dose should be before she can give me my vials. That takes time. I wait. Then she comes out to tell me she has to dilute my vials and it will take 15 - 20 minutes. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. So, what should have been 10 - 15 minutes tops in here is now an hour. One hour. And my phone call 2 days ago was a complete waste of time, because they could have done all this vial dilution and collection of records in that time, so I could have just come in and picked up my vials, as planned. I am beyond glad that I am changing to a new doctor.

The best allergy doctor she cured my ashtma the others can’t !

I went to her to see if I was correct about what I was allergic to. She had me tested, and yes, I was allergic to a particular nutritional supplement.

She is very accommodating and very caring, she tries to help in her own little way if patient like I do cant afford the expensive treatment for allergy. I am still considering the allergy shots, since my situation didn't improve after all those meds. I highly recommend her service tho.....she is a price jewel...hope most doctors treat their patients like the way she treats us or me. My only problem is their reception, its hard to get into or it takes several months to get an appointment.

....so sorry I have tried numerous times to give them a chance to be a better experience Please DON'T call to make and appointment because no one ever answers !?After 3 months of trying to contact them, as my insurance has referred me to Dr. Pendleton in June, yet the receptionist is either rude or calls me a liar - my insurance should not refer me to Dr. who is uncaring or has inept reception.The importance of being served to help prevent a life threatening situation should be IMPERATIVE for an allergist more than most KNOW asthma kills - apparently so does this company due to the lack of care for patients ...RUN  to any other doctor group

I've been seeing Dr. Pendleton for six years. When my son started to develop allergies and asthma too, I knew I was going to take him to her. She is very proactive in treating allergies and asthma, has a great bedside manner with kids and adults, and really knows both her area and patients. Highly recommended!

Wow!! She was amazing! I can't believe someone like her actually takes "welfare" insurance patients.

I took my mom to Dr. Pendleton and was blown away by her care over my mom's condition.  I'm dealing with a situation where my parents don't have health insurance and Dr. Pendleton understood that and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to provide her with the best recommendation for what we could afford.  At 6pm on a Friday, Dr. Pendleton called us on her cell phone to tell us results of my mom's x-rays that we took a few hours earlier that same day, unbelievable.  As if that wasn't enough, days later, she called to follow up with resources for my mom to obtain low-income health insurance and also to see how she was doing.  I literally had tears in eyes when I got off the phone with her.Doctor visits have become this mechanical process we go through, expecting little concern over the doctor's part.  Dr. Pendleton is not your average doctor and she deserves to be commended for the quality of treatment she provides.  Not only that, she uses her resources to help diagnose the problem, so she's incredibly resourceful and brilliant.  My mom's health has improved a lot since seeing her; I can not recommend a doctor more highly than Dr. Jennifer Pendleton.
