I found Elizabeth because of her top rated review. After my visits to her, I would say she totally deserved a 5 out of 5. I injured my neck weeks ago. The prescribed ibuprofen patch only helped when I used it. I came to Elizabeth when my neck and upper pack were still very much in pain. But quickly only after the first session, I felt so much relieved, not just I can finally freely move around my neck, but also the most of the pain from my neck and upper pack has totally gone without any usage of medicine. I was honestly suspect on the way how she procedures the acupuncture at the beginning. I had acupuncture before, but no one like Elizabeth, who only operates on the pressure points from my lower legs, feet and hands. She DIDN'T touch my neck at all, but cured my neck totally. I recommend Elizabeth, not just because she fixed my neck pain. She is so thorough, and considerate. She gave me free oil to help heal the burn on my neck, which is caused by overdosed icy heat. I've had De Quervain's Tenosynovitis for almost a year, since February 2019 (It's December 2019 now). I could barely move my wrist without pain and constantly wore a brace to support daily life. Over the course of my chronic condition, I had three cortisone injections (knowing they had long-term adverse effects) and physical therapy which included electric stimulation therapy, heat and cold treatments, ultrasound, and deep tissue massage, to no avail. The only option, several orthopedic doctors have told me, was to snip the tendon sheath that held my inflamed tendons. I'm a 23 y.o. female - I didn't want a permanent surgery that would not only come with many other complications, if done incorrectly, but would also not cure the underlying cause of my pain in the first place, which was the swelling of my tendons. So I turned towards the homeopathic approach; I wanted to try every other means I could before surgery and saw acupuncture as an option. I did my research and found Elizabeth at Join Hands Acupuncture Wellness and gave her a call. I told her about the pain in my wrist before I came in and when we did meet in person, she wanted to know every specific thing about my chronic condition, and got to work needling me immediately. I was skeptical at first, but asked questions, which she readily and patiently answered. I've never had acupuncture before, and was wary of needles, although I do have a high pain tolerance. I won't lie and say it didn't hurt, but only the initial prick was surprising and after a few moments, I got used to them. Using a distal technique that allowed me to stretch my hands and wrists, she constantly asked me questions as well, asking if certain needles were intolerable, or if they lessened the pain in my wrist. I wasn't expecting for any immediate changes to my condition, and I agreed to come in for two sessions every week in hopes of intensely targeting the inflammation in my wrist. After a few weeks during one session, Elizabeth had a breakthrough where the pain in my wrist almost disappeared. I was so surprised, and ecstatic; she gave me hope that my condition could be cured after so long, and I gratefully continued the treatments. After 7 months of shots, doctor's visits, and physical therapy sessions, I only felt progression after a couple months with Elizabeth. On a scale of 1-10, I have gone from an agonizing 7 down to a 1 - that's how good Elizabeth is - and I can not thank her enough.

I had never done acupuncture before and from my very first visit was thrilled with my results. I have arthritis in my left hip and a knee issue with something similar to a bone spur, also have a eating issue. Elizabeth has been extremely helpful and has explained how the acupuncture will work. I love coming in for acupuncture! I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2010. And almost ten years later I'm still trying remedies to relieve pain in my joints and muscles and relax my body from the medicines and stress in my daily life. I would recommend this to anyone that is even slightly interested in acupuncture. I feel so rejuvenated and relaxed. Elizabeth is such a wonderful person and acupuncturist. She asks me questions, listens to my concerns and problem areas. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. I'm a bit of a medical mystery and I can positively say that this has been very beneficial for my condition which is not the easiest thing to do. I've been coming back here regularly for the last few months after finding a Groupon deal. Elizabeth is helpful, calm, and friendly. She listens to your health concerns and does her best to get to the matter. I've had right shoulder and right knee issues and I have to say, she helped subside my pains and gives me tips for home care. I recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Elizabeth! I was extremely nervous to try acupuncture but Elizabeth made me feel so comfortable! I've been to see Elizabeth many times for various issues; anxiety, neck and wrist pain. Every time I leave feeling so relaxed and my pain is almost gone! Elizabeth is so knowledgeable about acupuncture and Chinese herbs! Now I'm not nervous at all and usually fall asleep on the table!
