She was insensitive to my question about my 20 year old son’s hand surgery. When I asked her where it happens, at our appointment in May, she said in-office, period. That’s the only information she would provide me. I guess she did not think it was important to inform us that the next appointment in July was not actually the surgery date, which we were led to believe it was, again, a total lack of doctor/patient communication, but an office visit/follow-up, they called it, to set up the surgery date. As a parent, who pays for the insurance, and has a right to know, signed docs, allowing me to speak and know on my son’s behalf, this doctor Gilbert and here office provide terrible communication.

Amazing care, always on time to see me, Staff friendly and very competent. I would refer Dr. Gilbert and her staff to anyone who needs a hand surgeon.

Dr. Gilbert is awesome. She just looked at my hands and knew exactly what issues I have. She explained things so it was easy to understand. She fixed one of my hands with the skill of an artist. You can hardly see where the scars are! I highly recommend Dr. Gilbert!

All the staff in her office are so kind and caring. Dr J Gilbert sometimes comes across as a bit gruff or cold, but I think she's a very skilled surgeon and she cares.

Initial appointment, carpel tunnel test, surgery , and follow up appointment went perfectly. I went from sleepless nights, to a full uninterrupted 8 hours. If I could, Dr Gilbert would get 6 stars.
