List of Kristen N. Rice's Reviews
Dr. Rice is by far one of the most caring thorough and compassionate Doctors I have ever had. Dr. Rice is 2nd to none in all aspects of caring for her patients, and I am so fortunate to have her as my Oncologist. Dr. Rice simply put, is amazing!
This is an old review because I haven’t seen Dr. Rice in years. However I found her to be distant, noncommunicative, and uninterested in my well being as a cancer survivor. She did not explain procedures well and did not provide test results in a timely manner. Fortunately I found a new oncologist who is just the opposite of Dr. Rice.
Dr. Rice has kept me alive for over 6 years. She explains everything in plain English so you know exactly what your options are. She takes extra time to do research and to consult with other experts to find the best treatment specifically for you. I owe her my life.
I love her, she is brilliant, explains everything well, happy to answer questions. If you have serious issues, she is the one to trust. I highly recommend.
Very thorough and very learned.
Dr. Rice takes her time with me, answering even my "dumb" questions. She is caring, compassionate, an exceptional oncologist.
Dr. Rice has an excellent bedside manner. She shows concern and compassion and answers all the questions we have. She explains things in a way we can understand and makes us feel comfortable when we ask questions. Thank you for all you do!
She took excellent care of my father, was compassionate to him and the family, and even went over and beyond by calling his estranged daughter to make sure she had a last chance to see her father. She made him feel like his was the only patient and treated him on an individual basis; unlike a previous doctor he had that treated everyone the same. Bless you for all you did for my Dad.
Dr. Rice treated my husband who passed away this week from kidney cancer. She was caring, compassionate, and a good listener. She went out of her way to stay in contact, explain procedures and test results.
Dr. Rice ordered a CT scan that was not necessary. My nephrologist recommended I avoid iodine contrast and I expressed this in a message to Dr. Rice. Dr. Rice refused to send old records tothe radiologist despite my request. The old records would have shown that there was no change. So, it cost me $300 and risked my health for no reason. When I left a message asking why I needed the CT she responded that "The radiologist said so." She is arrogant and apparently thinks her patients are too ignorant to receive information. I ordered the radiologist report and brought my old records with me to the radiologist since Dr. Rice refused. Dr. Rice tried to schedule the second CT one month after the first despite that the radiologist said after 3 months. She then tried to schedule my next "6 month checkup" in 3 months. She needs the business. She needs to curb that arrogance and get a little more experience under her belt.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
