On time friendly talks to me and with me
He’ a great Doctor. He care my mom really profesional he explain us everything very well. He’s the best doctor in the world. We really so grateful!
Not only does dr sise have great bedside manner but he is very intelligent a good surgeon and helped me tremendously. I am grateful for him!
19 October 2018: At Scrippps Mercy Hospital (I was scheduled) for routine heart cath to place a stent. Cardiologist fired cath into right femoral artery and (guess what?) Cath hit a star closure device from a 2011 cath at naval hospital. Both devises stuck (both are stainless steel), surgical team attempting to pull cath and closure device out of artery. Realized they may burst femoral artery with potentially dire consequences. My cardiologist has good sense to call Dr. Sise. 20 min later this magnificent surgeon and his staff are up and ready, I am rolled into operating room and Dr. Sise quickly cuts the cath and closure devise out thus saving my life. I am a retired Navy SEAL with multiple combat tours over a 33 years career so close calls are something I know well. Dr. Sise is the "Best and Brightest" surgeon I have ever had fix my combat wounds and injuries. The morning after surgery (0600) he was at my bedside explaining every detail of the surgery to me, filling me in on what to expect pain wise, cautions, and even loaded me up with extra (expensive) bandages. He visited me every day until I was able to be discharged. He is always smiling, and his years of experience are easily seen in his personable bedside manner. His "cool hand Luke" deameaner and superior professionally great trauma skills make this surgeon my "go to surgeon." I am scheduled today for staple and stich removal and am actually looking forward to seeing this great trauma surgeon again. If you have a trauma and need emergency surgery this is the doctor I would call. Quick, no nonsense, skilled surgery, minimally invasive, and great followup care! CDR James Wardrobe, USN(ret.) I have been going to this Dr's office for 9 years. It is the best Dr's office I have ever had the pleasure of going to. Dr. Sise is a stand up old school Irish Bostonian. As I myself am. He understands the struggles people face in life and puts himself out there to help you. As will ANY staff member there. If your right not a one of them will sell you out. They got your back.Good people. Good Good people.
Can explain things in basic, easy to understand language. Have a confidence in him.
Before my Sports Medicine Dr. will okay me for a knee replacement, I had to go see a Vascular specialist for an evaluation on the condition of my legs and circulation, as a good report will show a better result of recovery after knee surgery. Dr. Sise is where I went & I can say he is a fabulous Doctor. Not a lot of time spent waiting around a waiting room or an exam room. The waiting room is loaded with good (& recent) magazines to take your mind off things. The ladies working behind the desk are attractive, pleasant and efficient. The Doctor is very congenial and surprisingly down-to-earth. Parking is a breeze in their private lot and you can get your ticket validated in the office so the parking is free. Also, the location at Fifth Ave. and Washington Street is right next to Scripps Mercy Hospital, so there is easy access to a well-regarded emergency room and hospital right across the street, should the need arise.5 YELP STARS for a wonderful doctor, excellent staff and free parking!
Dr. Sise is one of the most knowledgeable Drs. concerning vascular problems that you will ever find. His office is a very pleasant place with kind, co ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
