Mosaic Integrative Medicine's Online Review Report Card

I have been under Dr. Monterey's care for six years for Hashimoto's and HRT. I followed her to Mosaic from another clinic, actually, and even though I spend the majority of my time out of state, I make sure to time my travels so that I can continue to receive the most comprehensive and thoughtful care possible at Mosaic. As many of you may know, diagnosing Hashimoto's can be a frustrating slog. Add menopause to that, and I thought I was just doomed to feel terrible for the rest of my life. I was so grateful to finally be listened to and taken seriously. My quality of life improvements have far exceeded expectations under Dr. Monterey's care and I consider myself incredibly lucky to have access to quality personalized health care. Whatever your issues, or even if you just want to maximize your wellness, this is a great place to get actual data and create an actual plan to move forward. They also make it super easy to schedule appointments online, and they can be either in-person or by phone. I really feel like someone is looking out for me and I can't say enough great things about this clinic.

We have been seeing Dr. Natasha Monterey for our 14 year old son for 6 months now and could not be more thrilled to have her as his practioner. She listens so well to our concerns, runs the appropriate labs and provides the results and thorough assesments of them. The protocols our son has been on so far have already greatly improved his health. He used to get sick often. He has even has a minor cold since we started. He is super allergic to many environmental allergens as well as to nuts. We've had several wins that have been huge for his health. #1 - he is super allergic to dogs, even "hypoallergenic" ones. He now is able to pet, sit with and play with dogs. #2 - he always reacts poorly and suffers for days after he plays on certain soccer fields. One in particular, that has caused the largest allergic reaction for him for many years, is dreadful for him to play on. A last minute field change for his high school soccer game had him playing on it recently ... and for the first time, he did not have a reaction!! #3 - we can use our heater! He used to get this cough at night when we ran our heater so we stopped using it. It's been cold so we have been experimenting with turning it on for an hour or two here and there to warm up the house and low and behold, it no longers causes him any problems. Mama can be warm now and is so excited!! We are beyond excited with the changes we have seen already and are so thankful for Dr. Natasha! Working with Caitlin to get our appoinments scheduled has been great as well. We are very happy patients and highly recommend Mosaic!

We are beyond grateful to have found Mosaic Integrative Medicine and work with Dr. Natasha on our 2 yr old daughter's eczema! She broke out last winter after a fungal infection, Covid, and several congestions. The pediatrician, Allergist, and Dermatologist all prescribed a steroid, told us to apply it, and that she would grow out of it. The steroid creams were not helpful because not only it wasn't safe to apply for more than 3-5 days, but the eczema would come back worse and you'd have to apply again. It was a vicious cycle.. I felt like it was making her eczema worse! The Allergist even thought she would have to go on Dupixent and that's how bad it was. We finally were able to see Dr. Natasha via virtual video call and she broke everything down for us and answered all of our questions. My husband was skeptical and to be honest even though I am a huge believer in holistic healing, I wasn't sure myself because I've never known anyone whose eczema cleared up. We did a stool test, Dr. Natasha reviewed the results, and prescribed supplements based on those results. After literally a few days on the supplements I was seeing her eczema starting to clear up... it took a little more time for my husband to really see it because again he was a skeptic. Within a little over a month our daughters eczema was completely cleared up!! My husband is now a believer lol Our friends and family could not believe it! We highly recommend Dr. Natasha. She is so kind, caring, and really wants to help her patients. We are so happy to have our daughter under her care and it was all worth it!! Thank you Dr. Natasha for helping us heal our baby girl!

Very quiet and beautifully private area. 5/5 treatment. I would strongly recommend for anyone that is looking for a genuine holistic approach to health.

This practice is amazing. I'm a patient here and a fellow healthcare provider myself, as I send many patients here as well. That being said, I'm specific and intentional in who I refer to. Dr. Natasha Monterey ND has been pivotal in my health journey. Empathetic, smart, and she knows how to figure out complex issues! Like I shared, I've send many of my own patients here as well for ND services and they all have had great experiences! Highly recommend!

Not a professional atmosphere. Very disorganized and no followup. They forget you even exist unless you reach out. Never available, late or continuously cancel. Would not recommend.

Dr. Catalina is incredible. I had my first consult with her back in December 2021 after I experienced a severe rash/hives breakout all over my body that I could not contribute any cause to. I was not having any success with visits to my primary care or emergency room doctors who simply wanted to throw steroids or a pill at me to mask symptoms. Dr. Catalina worked with me to try and find causation. I cannot tell you how much she has helped me heal over the course of the past few months. She has spent time researching my symptoms and emailing me recommendations in between visits. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a functional medicine doctor that will spend time looking at all possible avenues for what is actually causing your issues. I cannot stress enough that it is imperative to look at causation and address what your body needs to help you heal. It's not an overnight process, but if you are willing to invest the time, and work with someone who can provide a comprehensive treatment plan then I would highly recommend Dr. Catalina. She is a thoughtful and caring doctor who is invested in helping her patients find answers and individual treatments that will truly make a difference in your overall health. I am so glad I found her!!

I’m so thankful I was referred to Dr. Winter by one of my mom groups! She truly was amazing and very knowledgeable. My 4 year old usually is scared and nervous when we have gone to other pediatricians in the past and he felt so comfortable being around her. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Winter.

I'm clearly in the minority here (which I'm actually grateful for -- I'm glad most were thrilled with their experience!), but I wasn't satisfied with my care at Mosaic Integrative. I completely understand that the healing journey is very unique from person to person, so my criticism is not directed so much towards my lack of improvement, but rather towards Mosaic's shortcomings in organization. First of all, I never had my appointments scheduled ahead of time nor was there any discussion of when I should follow-up -- it seemed like it was my own judgment call each time, which was frustrating! It was difficult to know when a follow-up was appropriate, and as anyone struggling with their health knows, we want to hand over that responsibility to our healthcare provider, especially in the beginning. I thought this was really odd! Additionally, it was never easy to make an appointment with my doctor because of her upcoming vacation. I feel strongly that I shouldn't have been taken on as a patient right before my doctor was about to go on vacation and subsequently wouldn't be available. Because of this, I switched to a different practitioner after my first session. To that end, I found the recommendations repetitive. More than once I walked away from a follow up appointment having learned nothing new and feeling no better. I had to request that my lab work be sent to me/posted on our patient portal because my doctor didn't inform me in a timely manner that it had come back. All of this ended up adding to my frustration/overall sense of health anxiety than take away from it. I will say that Mosaic was fairly responsive via e-mail. Ultimately, I established care with a new naturopathic doctor, and it has been like night and day. I feel finally like I've handed over the driving wheel to my healthcare provider, and I've seen great results. As I said before, I'm glad that most reviews are positive and I'm sure there are probably many who will thrive at Mosaic, but as someone who wants to feel confident that their naturopathic doctor has a game plan, I did not.
